Colin doesn't even need SCOP. COP is already really strong on its own. More money means you can start building expensive units earlier. This in turn means that those more expensive units can be used to fuel the next COP, which would then mean you can build even more expensive units. While Grit is also one of the 5 broken COs, he's probably the weakest of them all because all that range is great vs. most other COs, but not when he's outnumbered (vs. Colin, Hachi, or Sensei) or just straight up loses in overall quality (vs. Kanbei).

I disagree, I think grit is better since theres no megatanks in AW2 and all COs dont get the global +10 firepower when using COP/SCOP, they only get defense. Unless you are playing with settings that give 2,000 money per city, grit can beat colin

Was DoR even bad? It looked like the same game, just with a difference cast of characters

1:00 Should be noted that like Sami, this con only applies to non-Infantry/Mech units. Grit’s Infantry/Mechs are as strong as most everyone else who isn’t named Sami, Kanbei, and Sensei as far as non-Black Hole COs go. Meanwhile all of Colin’s units do less damage than Andy’s units, Andy being the Mario of Advance Wars.

AW1 grit footsoldier has the -20% penalty however

Grit was always such a blast to play as, slowly building up perimeter artillery that just levels the enemy before they can even get out of their boarders

He can breathe a sigh of relief Dual Strike wasn't included, he *really* hated going up against Black Bombs because of that.

This game is good, I hope the success of this title leads Nintendo to bring back more dormant series on the Switch.

They can start by further expanding multiplayer horizons for this game, dissapointed because I couldn’t meet more ppl

I was wondering if they would showcase the other COs and not just Orange Star, but this was a welcome surprise, looking forward to the other COs being advertised, my favorite is Grit, nothing beats kicking back and keeping away from direct combat and sniping down units from long distances, I also love Winter which means I love Olaf, Colin is a little rich kid with a lot of wealth!

Yay more of the 'Introducing' videos!! Love seeing more AW content. Great stuff Nintendo

I'm playing the game right now I am absolutely loving it

I am so happy the game finally released! Brings me back to my childhood😊

Already finished the first campaign on classic difficulty. Still have to 100% it but I'm well into the second campaign already. Loving this even after playing the originals a ton.

Colin is absolutely fair and balanced, I swear! Look I'm even nerfing myself by not using his super CO power.

AW 1&2 ...I played these so much back in the day...Love these games forever.

I just recently unlocked Grit and I really like his playstyle, but so far Andy seems the most balanced CO.

Did botw have many delays? This game only had 2...1.5 delays if we're being generous. Prime 4 is the most delayed. I bet it won't even come out for switch.

Did you live in a cave? This game already got controversy for delaying a finished game for over a year over a war and in the end just releases it anyway during same war

Anyone else think of BN4? Olaf is also pretty similar to Cold Man’s operator.

Ok explaining and stat time: Olaf: 100/100, can force snow and deal global damage; units are unaffected by said snow, but rain acts like snow for him Grit: 120(or 130)/100 for indirect units, and all direct combat units are 90/100; infantry became standard 100/100 in AW2 (style 2) i think Also, don't be fooled by both CO powers, they only extend the range of it by 1 or 2 Colin: 10% discount, but everything is 90/100. General rule of thumb, don't use Power of Money that often, sure it boosts damage according to funds, but gold rush gives you more units, which is 100 times better and is the reason why he is on par with Hachi and Sensei in overpowered terms: your units swarm the whole battlefield.

Game is very good, wayforward put a lot of heart into it, wish they would patch a few bugs tho

It multiplies your current funds by 1.5. So if you have 10k, then pop the power, you have 15k (always use it before you deploy units on your bases for that turn)

Don’t you worry guys, Colin’s Power of Money is still broken.
