In a previous video ( • Adjustable-jaw Pliers ... ), I showed a few different designs of adjustable-jaw pliers -- all of the ones in that video had some variation of flat-jaws that lend themselves mostly for use with fasteners (hex head bolts/nuts, square nuts, etc).
In this video, I focus on adjustable-jaw pliers with differently-shaped jaws - specifically for use with small-diameter round things (usually threaded pipes), in this case.

I recently purchased one of those at a junk shop. I noticed it was a genuine Channel Lock so I spent the $1. I didn’t understand the reasoning behind the design so now I know.
still confused about how wide should i adjust the jaws sometimes while i turn it just come loose and i have to decrease the jaws so how to do it from the 1st time?!
