Adjustable-jaw Pliers Basics -- features and differences
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The basics of adjustable-jaw pliers, like Channellocks, Knipex Cobras, and Robo-Grips.
While they all do roughly the same thing (allow grip on fasteners and other things up to about 2 inches wide) they all adjust differently and have several differences that may make you prefer one more than another.

Good video. The only notes I have are regarding terminology. There are 4 technicians in the shop aside from myself watching this video on lunch. All of us agree that your “basic” pliers are called “slip-joint pliers” and the adjustable jaw pliers (commonly misrepresented as ‘channel locks’) are typically referred to as “tongue and groove pliers”
Found you from an ad, love your work! Keep it up.
Keep up the high quality content! I don’t think your views are nearly as high as they should be. Also I’d love to see a video going over the various types of torque wrenches and their applications.
Wow, those robo grips are pretty amazing, it's too bad that they are well engineered but poorly designed.
