Adeptus Titanicus Terrain - Plasticard Buildings

Ойындар

This is a video of the terrain I have started making ahead of the release of the Adeptus Titanicus game from Forge world. Super happy that it's set in the Horus Heresy Era as that will really lend itself to narrative gaming.
Let me know what you think of the buildings I have made and if you have any suggestions for them.

These are absolutely wonderful! The modularity is so great, too, it'll really allow for a lot of different styles of city.

I was really excited when I first saw the thumbnails on KZread hoping for the return of epic scale, but I have heard that it is not the same scale. I will have to wait and see what they have planned for future releases before I commit to the new game.

You're right, it's not 6mm, it's now 8mm. And there aren't actually any plans at the moment to include anything other than titans in the game. Though if it's popular; it will likely herald the return of epic.

While I can understand being excited over bigger more detailed models, my enthusiasm is tempered by the thought it might be out of my price range. I would be more likely to buy into the first game if I saw plans for further expansion. Let's hope we all get what we want.

The building looks like you are off to a great start. 3D printing was not around when the original game was released and it will be interesting to see it used for small inclusions to fully printed buildings. The use of plasticard will have crisper edges which may be preferred for buildings. I am looking forward to seeing your builds.

Your architectural design surely violates any number of fire codes. Single exit on such a large structure, lack of fire escapes, no rooftop exit! You sir are a slumlord of the Imperium and citizens will die in your buildings! LOL 😂 Nicely done though. They look good. Wish I had them in the Epic days.

Jsh Pk To be honest 30k could cover civilisations at virtually any level of development the whole gothic thing is a result of the degeneration of the Empire into a theocracy by 40k.

are the offsets for the new adeptus titanicus buildings (Ie the tabs that fit in the section above) just the same size square glued with the back layer 'poking' up to make a tab ? (does that make sense)

  • @kiblams
