I love it! That plastic contemptor definitely takes some work to not look like a stiff, dead guy in an upright coffin (hey, wait a sec! that makes a little sense as the Dreadnought IS a sarcophagus. Hmm...). You pulled it off though and the shield is great looking!

Beautiful job on the conversion! This is crazy, but I’ve just finished converting MY Betrayal at Calth Contemptor- also in black (but it’s Raven Guard)- and my wife has been telling me “make an Instagram account so people can see your stuff”, but aside from painting, I’m pretty lazy, and haven’t done it yet. I showed her your video and she started laughing and telling me that you beat me to it! What a coincidence- well, my hat’s off to you, mate- yours looks great. Enjoy your weekend!

I’m always the same man. There’s always room for improvement / progression with our painting but I find even myself we’re always a bit hard on ourselves 😅

How did you get the metal so dark but still with a slight shine to it. Iv'e tried reproducing it, but i can't get it as good as yours.

Gelty Melty I use a black prime, dark metal zenithal, a black wash and then a silver dry brush. 😁

Thanks! I was using a black wash but i found it dulled the metals shine, but i never tried dry brushing after.

Looks good man can you use these in 40k? I've got one you see.
