I had a boyfriend that died at age 18, he loved me with all his heart. I had a husband of almost 50 years that passed away in Sept 2013. He loved me more than can be put in words or described. I have had another man that passed away since then - -they say I was the love of his life. So I have known love and I have given love. Today, I have a guy that I think I could love deeply if I could tear down the walls. To love and be loved is the greatest thing besides God. We as humans crave that. Adele makes us feel it in our soul and it grips our hearts. Even at my age (73) I want to share it again. Nothing like it. :)

Carol,You are so lucky top have found true love that many times, but do not waste your time even attempting to tear down that other mans walls, If he still has walls at his age, he is not worth one breath of your time. This song means the world to me. Every time I turn it on it puts me in tears. On April 7 '22 I lost the love of my life; my fiance to a long 4 year battle with cancer. She used to sing this song to me (and a few others). She had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Just like an angel. But, now she is one. I have only memories. But, they're the best memories of my life and I am glad I got to share my love with her. One day I will see her again. I had never heard this song before. The day after my Mom passed away, it came on out of nowhere. It took my breath away. I fell to my knees and wept. I feel like she is telling me these words. It's been 10 years and I still can't hear this songs without tears falling. I love you, Mom. I sing this right back at you, my protector.

This song should have WAY more views than 187 million. I cry everytime. The haunting piano, her Billie Holliday-esqe melancholy vocals. Brilliant! Simply brilliant! Adele is by far, the best female vocalist! Period!

I used to sing this to my daughter when she was in my tummy and I was experiencing complications. She is now a bouncy, happy and beautiful 11 year old and survived our terrible ordeal ❤

Her voice can do songs that are more romantic in tone, but I can't see her covering something like Rainy Day Women, Like a Rolling Stone, or My Back Pages. She can't make her voice sound nasally and sarcastic like Dylan does in those songs, and frankly it's a tone that very few have been ever to replicate.

+Marta martinez: In my very humble opinion Adele's cover of "Make You Feel My Love" is far superior to that of Bob Dylan. If anyone can listen to her rendition of this song at the Royal Prince Albert Hall (2011) in honor of Amy Winehouse without tearing up, there's something missing emotionally within that "anyone". The same can be said of her other covers. But music appreciation just like art is subjective so there's no right or wrong. Just an opinion.

I've heard and admired Adele since that "unsigned" version of Hometown Glory, and watched her emerge into glorious butterfly glory. but this song has recently gotten under my skin. not just the lyric, the music, but the voice... Adele's voice echoes louder in my soul, the older I get.

My sister played this at her wedding, it was super emotional. I can’t believe I wasted my childhood fighting with her. Now she’s married and she has her own family.

We have adopted children. They had all been so mistreated in their various circumstances. They could not trust or risk feeling love. When I was discouraged over the years I came back here to feel the words of this song. I still tell them “You ain’t seen nothing like me yet. I ll go to the ends of the earth for you..to make you feel my love.”

If Adele would only have sang this, it would be enough to make her unforgetable. Dylan's music is beautiful, the lyrics also, but Adele gets our hearts from the first phrase, it's an amazing performance. It's melancholic, sad, restrained, and yet luminous and positive. It's a masterpiece.

i love the fact that Adele covered a song from an old legend, but I think that Dylan's version is better. His shaky voice makes it just better, and I usually like the original version more than the cover.

All the accolades for Adele and Bob Dylan on the comments are well deserved. It is indeed a memorable song. I watch this version again and again for the scenario the director (or whoever) created so brilliantly.... the lonesome apartment, high up in a tall building at 4am in the morning, with a brief sound of the tv in the background... it's getting cold and then there's the fadeout to the sounds of a big city with a distant siren. Terrific atmosphere !

I'm 60 years old and got plenty of things wrong in life, but I only have one major regret. That I couldn't sing or whisper this into the ear to my partner of 25 years who was suffering from cancer before she left. I felt every word was true, but I didn't do it !! Lesson, make sure your loved ones know how you feel. Thanks 'Bob Dylan' and Adele, the lyrics (and song) are amazing

I loss my son 10 months ago due to the fact that someone shot and killed him. This song is such a sad song that I got caught up in the sadness of the song that I cried so much missing my son. It wants me to want my son back with me. I want to nurture him and love him like no mother can ever love anyone. I just miss him so much but getting through each day but it is hard.
