This song brought hot tears to my eyes. I recently turned 70. I was blessed to have been married for 37 years to one of the most magnificent women who ever walked on this earth. She was not only my beloved wife but she was my best friend. I recently lost her and I held her hand as she died. I did not think I would be able to continue to live. This song expresses everything that I feel. I will never love again .... there is no one on this earth that could ever take the place of my best friend, the love of my life, my reason for living. I feel like she was singing my heartbreak..I lost my soulmate, my husband of 32 years to cancer last year, and not a day goes by where I don't wish he was still here, and even though he told me when he knew he wasn't going to make it, he said he wouldn't hold it against me if I found someone else one day, I can't imagine ever loving anyone again. It doesn't matter how much time passes, he was the other half of my soul, and when he died, that part of me that only belonged to him died too, and even though I have to say I am a widow now, I still feel like a wife. HIS wife. I still haven't seen this movie, and I don't know if I ever will, but this song? Shows the depth of Lady Gaga as an artist, and I heard she wrote it for someone who she was close to who had passed away, and it struck a chord so deep in Bradley Cooper, that they put it in the movie. What you see there when she performed it in the movie, she apparently did in one take because the emotion was raw and real. This is exactly what my grief feels like. 🥺💔

You really should watch the movie. Although it's a love story it tells her story of trying to become a singer while he was secretly battling his own addictions and demons. The ending was powerful and they lyrics will mean more. So sorry for your loss as well 🙏❤️

The singer recalled that "[Sonja] gave me a tragic gift that day and I took it with me to set, and I sang that song for Jackson and for her on that very same day within an hour." Co-star Bradley Cooper was supportive about Gaga's loss but Gaga was adamant in finishing the scene. So she stepped on the set and sang "I'll Never Love Again".

I just finished watching 'A Star is Born' with Lady Gaga, who I believe is the most talented & wonderful vocalist & pianist I've heard in a long time. Even though it's seen this movie what's before the final song didn't resonate with me then as it does now. I lost my husband a 44 years a little over 2 years ago. That song I'll never love again resonates so much with me. Thank you Lady Gaga. Thank you for whoever wrote the Song and for you Lady Gaga who sings. The song really shows all the expression in it's Verbage and the way it was simple phrases come out.

FYI: GAGA sang this the day one of her best friends Sonja died. She got a call left the set without even telling Bradly she drove to Sonja’s house but GAGA missed her by 10 minutes. She layed in bed with her and her husband. They talked and convinced her to go back and finish the filming. GAGA went back to the set and she did this Performance. This song has real meaning. GAGA we love you. For everyone grieving the loss of a love one, remember that the love you had for them you still have and share it with the world. Good lord, I never realized how amazing Lady Gaga was before I heard this song. The amount of passion and emotion she was able to project into this song is incredible. There's only a few songs that, no matter how many times I've listened to them, can still choke me up and this is one of them. She is criminally underrated and underappreciated. This is a masterpiece

When you hear her breathing between the words, you really feel that pain in her soul. That song is written with his and her whole heart. Edit: I know that the day she sang this song was the same day when she lost a dear friend. She was on sent and when he got a call that her friend is not okay she left immediately but she was late. Her friend had passed away like before 10-15 minutes when she arrived.

The lyrics of this song is just awesome!!!! Got me everytime. So deep and sad. But then every great story/song is always tinted with loss and grief.

Úlfar Viktor Yeah I heard about that. I feel so bad for everyone in that situation. I lost my best friend and a really close great aunt a few years ago due to cancer. I still really really really miss them, and to this day I’m still not the same. Honestly I think we’ve all lost someone from something unfortunate. If anyone reading this has lost someone recently, I want you to know that you are never ever alone. Don’t be afraid to talk to people about your grief. We’ve all been through it before and we’ve lost someone close to us. Sadly it’s part of life, and no one can control it no matter how hard we try. But I don’t think that our deceased loved ones would want us to grieve them. I think that they will want our memories of them to stay sweet. As hard as it is to do. Try to remember the good times you had with them, and try to celebrate their lives that were lived. Pain is only one small part of the relationship. Everything else is so much better, and it completely outweighs the grief of losing someone. The good memories of the person will last much longer than the pain will, but only if you let it. (And I think our deceased loved ones will agree that it’s better to remember the good times)

This is the most emotional I have ever gotten from a movie ever. Maybe it's because I don't think I will ever find that someone. Maybe it's because of the alcoholism throughout and I connected with it dealing with it with my dad. Maybe it's because of the suicide at the end because I have been suicidal before. Maybe it's because I lost both of my parents and didnt get a chance to say good bye. Maybe because it's more than a movie for me. Maybe because they are both magical together and I want that magic. The first time I heard this song, I didn't have even watched the movie... Me and my husband was in a crisis in our married and I was thinking about to get divorced... When I heard this chorus, that definitly said everything I was feeling, because we were in love, but some problems were making us apart... We tried another time and restarted from the beginning, today I thank God so much because I'm so happy!! Living a healtly and full of love marrie!! I'll never forget this experience. I cry everytime I hear this, because makes me remember that worthed to fight for our love!! (sorry if I made any mistake writing, english is my second language)

No matter what else you say about her nobody can say she can't sing. Man that girl is talented.
