No hate to Addison, but the movie was fucking terrible. Just the acting and the writing together was just not it.
Addisons future is probably going to be Hallmark Christmas movies.

My dad loves those movies and some icons from when I was a teenager make a pretty good living between those and lifetime movies. As long as they are happy and still doing what they love.
Miles needs to come more often to the podcast he makes me laugh soooo hard!!!

Literally watching this episode because I saw Miles in the thumbnail. 😁
I love cheesy rom cons but I felt we didn’t see enough of the relationship between the characters to believe they fell for each other.
I think it is important to have party scenes of high schoolers not drinking. We have a lot of representation of kids drinking in other shows and movies. High schoolers who don’t drink should also get representation so they are not meant to feel abnormal for not having drank at 15. I think it is helpful to show some high schoolers drink and others do not. There should be a balance.

Nahh it's so funny, I've noticed at least twice now when Zach doesn't really care for a character he consistently gets their names wrong. Like in the monster house ep he kept calling Chowder "Chudder" 💀💀
"There are horse girls, but men are intimidated by horses" "why?" "Bc their schlongs are huge"-excuse me, what Zach??
Please do A Cinderella Story next. So many iconic lines from Jennifer Coolidge😆

IMO once they do multiple seasons of this podcast, I’d love a “best of Jennifer Coolidge” she is both a guilt and a pleasure in so many of her iconic roles

I'm with Zach here, loved Tanner here especially in Cobra Kai. And this movie is cute and cringy at the same time, didn't know Addison Rae was a tiktoker until Miles called it out. Watched this movie because of she's all that and Rachel Lee Cook
I would like to thank Guilty Pleasures as I was today years old when I learned Addison Rae and the D'Amelios were different people
I like to watch the youtuber DylanIsInTrouble and he also reviewed this movie. It was so bad, he actually cried tears of relief when it ended. Simply amazing.

I have a fun fact: Rachel Leigh Cook is only in this movie because they offered the role to Freddie Prinze Jr. and he said no. Which is so funny to me.
Who’s gonna break miles’s heart and tell him Addison is a trump stan?

If only they rewatched She’s All That, they would realize how annoyingly the same, yet worst this movie is.
ty zach for defending my boy tanner buchanan. i don't think the script did him any justice but he's a very good actor. love him in cobra kai

I’m commenting this only 22 minutes in. But this is what I’m feeling as a black woman as well as a fellow thespian. 1. The movie is horrible. Acting is horrible, scenes were horribly shot and the story line simply did not hit. It takes elements of black culture and uses it as an accessory to forward their own agenda. That’s disrespectful to the black community. 2. Addison’s acting is horrible and just downright not good. Not one line was convincing. Emotion was not felt. I could not understand what the objective was from no actor whatsoever. It felt like she was just saying memorized lines. And seeing Kelsey who calls herself an avid theatre kid back her acting is interesting to me. Because if you’ve seen stage performances you know what a performance is supposed to bring. I found that she accepted what is basically speaking into a camera in set locations “acceptable/good” acting a bit lack luster. And honestly that’s what’s annoying. Because a black actor could not do this. Not even a black social media influencer turned actor could do this movie this badly and NOT be black balled. It’s the fact that once again we’re seeing whiteness put over talent even if it was for a quick popularity or cash grab. Because BI POC/POC influencers wouldn’t have this opportunity. And that’s the most annoying part. Just like Zach said in the beginning. She got credit for dances she did NOT create. Especially from black women. That’s a problem tik tok still has to this day. Having our ideas and projects taken by yt bodies. And the media eating up black content that is not being seen on a black body. But that’s a different conversation in itself. So yes, everything about this movie is horrible. Their wasn’t any redeeming factor about this film or it’s acting. Y’all were so nice in my opinion. But honestly as yt people y’all are given that luxury. You can be mediocre, you can accept mediocre acting, and production and writing because you’ll always be supported whether you’re talented or not. Where as black people and other people of color have to be twice as good to get half as far as their yt counter parts. That’s all I thought about watching this entire review. Honestly the most underwhelming try guys ep I’ve ever seen across all platforms.
This episode is so fun because you all have such opposite opinions on so many different parts
I'm just as mad as Kelsey that they didn't include her this last episodes, when she was prepared
EVERYTIME they mispronounced addisons characters name I laughed out loud lmao

when Miles said "bucket" I fully lost it xD
The main characters had zero chemistry. Tanner Buchanan can act, Addison cannot. And the whole journey felt disjointed. SPOILER ALERT: Addison threw herself a pity party because she hurt Tanner and then Tanner's sister convinced him to go to prom by being like "you've been smiling, and I missed that" like maybe don't pin your happiness on someone else especially when she's a terrible person who thought you were a loser for being disillusioned with the fake-ness of high schoolers (which is entirely fair, especially when the person trying to convince you that high schoolers aren't fake is the fakest influencer). TLDR: Tanner was great. Movie was a mess. Addison seems like a terrible person in the movie and lowkey irl

Lmao at Kelsey in the background muttering “it won awards?” After learning what cobra kai is bc i watched the series and said the same thing to myself when they said it won awards 😅😅
Miles needs to be on this podcast as a regular going forward.
This was so entertaining and I think Miles should be added permanently.
Kelsey: "Giving up social media isn't realistic though" NOTHING IN THIS MOVIE IS REALISTIC
no hate to zach but the whole slot machine "golden ticket of fame given to anyone " but yet again it's given a white women is the entire reason why her celebrity status should be revoked

Hey Kelsey! So glad you’re back. Jealous of the vacation! But, I can’t bring myself to watch the movie. I love the original so much 💖
Kelsey! From a 30 year old who had ZERO clue who she was before this, I could tell. In the first 5 I was like "Netflix really wants me to know who she is and be excited about this but I don't" so I googled her. She was cute but as far as acting I think she is perfect for cute movies just like this. I think she might find some challenges at this age jumping to more Hollywood movies but I bet she could learn. I wanna be as nice as I can because she's just a kid.

Isn't she like, 20? Not exactly a kid - she certainly doesn't look like one in her music video.
You guys HAVE to do the original She’s All That too! My favorite 90s movie ✨
the movie felt like an absolute fever dream
Kelsey vs Cobra Kai is the funniest part of this whole thing
Add a fourth. Miles has got to stay
I had 0 clue who she was prior to this movie, and thought this was a perfect happily ever after film that Netflix owed us after the dumpster fire that was the Kissing Booth trilogy
Okay. Now we NEED an episode of the OG movie!!!
i loved the amount of synopsis up top in this one, woud love to see that more moving forward
Wastrel is definitely a word
It's okay Zach! Third Love is absolutely the best bra company! Never new there were half cup sizes!
I agree like 99.9% with Zach in this episode.
y’all should do the Dear Dumb Diary movie 😭 I feel like I’m the only person who has seen it
y'all I'm sorry but when I was watching clips of this movie from another person's review all I could think of was "go girl give us nothing" when Miss Rae was on screen
I love this! Tells me I'm not missing anything not watching this movie! I love the debate between these guys.
if you’d like to ruin your day, drink every time there’s a product placement in that movie
I couldn’t remember why I recognized any parts of this movie that I knew I didn’t watch and then I remembered I watched an episode of We Like To Watch with Trixie Mattel and Katya lol
I was HOPING you guys would do this movie i’m pumped!!
I don't TikTok and had no idea who Addison Rae is before this movie. Only watched it because Rachel Leigh Cook is in it and nostalgia. But is no one going to mention how Myra Molloy (Quinn) has her own fame outside of the US? She can actually sing, too, and did one (or more) songs for Thai version of Moana.
*"Wastrel" absolutely is a word. Zach, you uncultured wastrel.
I don't know how I was so late, but I've literally watched all the episodes this past week
No idea who Addison is, but I thought this move is great! Brought me so much laughs and smiles, love Kelsey defending her hahaaj
I love rewatching this episode this is hella funny
All is right Kelsey is back and I've sorely missed her take on movies
Thank u Zach for sticking up for Tanner! I love Cobra Kai 🐍
The evil friend acted amazing so I don’t blame the script because the friend acted amazing
SHE'S ALL THAT FUCKIN SLAPS. Just watched the dance off from the remake versus the original and GOOD LORD there is no contest. Also, USHER.
Ps. KELSEY I DEFINITELY MISSED YOUUUUU, your energy is ✨✨✨ UNMATCHABLE ✨✨✨
Haha I watched the movie before my work shift one morning.
Yes, I watched this when I was sick !!! Perfectly cheesy for a day off work
I watched it because Trixie and Katya reacted to it on Queens Like to Watch. There's no chemistry at all. Even the animosity between the rival girls was so flat.
I had no idea who the female lead was. All I knew was she was bad. Finding out she was from tiktok really explains soooooo much now. The male lead was much better than her in comparison.
I would love to see them do another TV like The White Lotus maybe? Or any other trending TV show that is questionable lol
The boy I like said he just saw me as a friend tonight and I'm still in lockdown and I needed this tonight so thank u
Yay new episode!
We need the Labyrinth w David Bowie !!
Omg Miles is getting married, I didn’t know. Congratulations 🎉❤️
I wish they would have brought up that nasty friend is the girl from that movie with the rock when she was a literal child .
I’m so glad I didn’t finish this movie. Had to stop halfway through and I know I’m not missing anything.
That was one of the funniest Guilty Pleasures episode and I don't even know anything about american tiktok culture.
I need ya’ll to do the Amazon Cinderella asap
Miles has such a good podcast voice
I refuse to watch this movie, so I am glad you made this podcast. I am offended Kelsey has not watched the original.
The best part about watching this movie is watching this video.
I did miss Kelsey! She's so fun
I don't understand how this specific movie made it to the top of the list of so MANY other's that ARE worth watching/talking about. She's famous because she is famous not because she is talented or has skills/experience for an acting career. Can we please talk about movies/ that are actually good or bad/good (guilty/guilty pleasure/ pleasure)
The best part of the movie was the parents in the cake😂
ok it’s crazy to watch this now that addison has just starred in a very well reviewed pulpy horror!

The costumes for the 1920s party from Amazon lol
Kelsey said everything I was thinking.
love it omg
omg please do twitches!!!
Disney’s Heavyweights would be a pleasure to review
Yay for Miles and Kelsey bringing the Uta Hagen and Meisner reference!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Addison has potential if she can get proper acting training ❤️❤️❤️
Okay is anyone else just a little upset that they didn’t watch She’s all that before they decided to review He’s all that??? Like I feel like you need the context to fully review the movie

I love Miles so much.
I didn't really know who addison rae was. I knew she was on tik tok but i never watched her content. And no she would not have been my first choice but she obviously tried. And I can appreciate that. But all in all I saw this movie only because tanner buchanan was going to be in it. He is great in cobra kai and I was happy to see he was doing something new. But I did not have high hopes for this movie but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie has some flaws but the last 30 minutes really brings it home.
She's all that was iconic in terms of being selfaware and autoironic romcom, hes all that missed that for sure
Miles is magnificent that is it.
I think the issue for me is that Padgett wasn't an awful/evil person like Jake in the original. She needed to be as petty and evil as the friend or at least short cited and have her grow like in the original Likewise the guy main also didn't grow at all. The best part of the original movie is that Jake and Lanie become better people because they spent time together and pushed each other to be different versions of themselves. In this one neither really have a radical shift. Even with this acting level this had potential but the writing choices were not great TBQH
PS. I feel like my soul got sucked out of my body when Zach mispronounced Cady. We will not accept Mean Girls slander in this house!
