Adding and Subtracting Radical Expressions With Square Roots and Cube Roots
This algebra video tutorial explains how to add and subtract radical expressions with square roots and cube roots all with variables and exponents. You need to simplify the radical expressions before adding or subtracting the radical expressions. The number inside the square root must be the same before you can add or subtract the coefficients.

We don’t need a math teacher when we have this guy
For these expressions witch looks like (a+b)^2 we can use a formula directly like a^2+2ab+b^2 for (a-b)^2 is a^2-2ab+b^2

On 5:55 why can you multiply the square root of 3 by 4 but not the square root of 7, they're both in the radical while 4 is outside of it?

Do you mean to write 3√4×2 - 5√9×2 if yes then Yes you can write it
What happens when something like 12\sqrt(2)-12\sqrt(7) or 3\sqrt(32)-4\sqrt(63) happens?

is there any way to send you a DM? I have a question about a problem and I feel like I am severely over thinking it.....
how about square root of x+1 added to square root of x-1?
can someone please explain why at 6:45 the foil isnt going from the inner left (3) to the other 3 but instead doing something that isnt foil. i thought foil was far right to far left, far right to far right, then the two middles, and middle left to the very first. what is going on

Use (A)²-(B)² Let A=3 and B=√5 as given in the equation👍
Wait, can't it be 10*(3^.5+5^.5)?
What if its 3✅y + 5✅x I don't understand how can i do it with the variable
Thanks a ton i like the last problem makes u think this is why i like math also i wrote the last answer the reverse way does it matter i wrote 240 square 3 plus 296 instead of vise versa
I'm here because my math class is my last subject--wherein there's no braincell left so I can't process what my teacher is saying..
What about theses types: ( /= square root of) 3/8 - /2
