This is a conscious community for gay men to connect with each other on the journey of healing from shame and becoming more authentic and aligned to their truth. We aim to offer inspiration, support, connection, healing, and a safe space to show up just as you are. Our vision for the members is to learn to feel more comfortable showing up vulnerably so deeper intimacy can be established in our community. We dream of a gay community where everyone can feel more connected to one another in more ways than just superficial and we can feel less lonely and have deeper connections to one another.

Michael’s description of his recovery largely resembles addressing classic OCD itself, by leaning into the problem itself and sitting with it, which is exposure and response prevention, the gold standard for treating OCD proper. I am currently witnessing by brother’s recovery from alcohol and substance addiction, which lasted 40+ years. He’s doing so through medical prescriptions as well as talking/connection with others, as Matt mentions. Thanks for sharing your journey stories.

Thanks for sharing yours as well. There are plenty of ways people can address their addiction. What we want them to know is that there are options and they're not alone.

It’s curious because the first thing I saw the title I just thought drugs and alcohol, which have never been a problem for me. But then you guys mentioned games, social media, sex, food, gym, so of course I’ve had some of those. I actually had to make a full stop with a game on my phone, I was addicted for years and even though it didn’t affect other aspects of my life, it definitely was a waste of time. Of course I’ve had moments in my life I’m not proud of for being intoxicated, but nothing ever horrible has happened, so I think I’m ok in that area. But my relationship with social media, comparing myself and validation from others is definitely something I should change. Thanks for inspiring us and for your honesty as always, big hugs

It has certainly helped me, but it's not always easy. Easier said than done, as they say...

I am a gay man from Chile, i saw one of matt's videos and it really came in the best moment cuz i was thinking of the gay community and how i dont like it so much cuz all i see is sex and drug abuse, and the video was about that, i don't remember the name of the video but with that video as an introduction i was amazed with ur idea of rebuilding the community and i started searching more of ur videos, and, well, i was a drug addict and i've been sober for one year now, i'm 29, absolutely no drugs, just some sugar and cafein haha, but being sober is really nice cuz i enjoy more life, i feel like i can connect deeper with each experiencie i live, and as Reno says u can get high with ur own way of experiencing things, and well i wich a community like urs here in Chile, but i think eventually there will be one, and i love how Matt is so passionate about this topic and i love Michael's simplicity and Reno's organic behavior, love u guys for being u and for doing this for the community, u give hope for better connection between gay people, god bless u, and happy chinnese new year, let us recieve the wood dragon's blessings for this beatyfull new cycle that is coming.
