Yep I love having 3D printed gears for my lenses! Can't live without them now! I even have some for lenses I don't own but that I rent often :)

Are there any manual focusing gear systems(follow focus) with a crank handle? Most I see have a round one and if you have a lens with a long focus throw, then are not as useful.

I love my Helios lens. I bought it on eBay and they modified it with focus gears in place of the standard focus and aperture rings. One of the best investments I've made. I think it cost me $100?

Without checking Tilta's product page, I ordered a 72mm Gear Ring for my Sigma 18-35 using a Tilta Focus Puller. Surprise surprise...it didn't work for me. It was way too snug; Barely put it on with lots of care just to notice the gear kept skipping and climbing on each other. SOOOO disappointed. After all these years, I finally found your video about this printed gear ring. I'll definitely purchase it. Thanks for sharing.

Just got some of these and they fit great. They are made out of rubber that doesn't seem like it will breakdown like the 3d printed ones might and they can stretch so I'd recommend getting one slightly smaller than what you measure if you want a really tight fit. Purchased 10 of the Tilta ones and it ended up being less then $30 plus shipping

Hey Armando, I am a big fan I just got a new C200 (thanks to u 😊), but coming from a sony a6300 i don't have any canon lenses, so can u please suggest some lenses for me to start with (price is not a big issue) I use it for my youtube channel and sometimes i make short films. Note I'm a one man film maker... Waiting for your reply pleeeeease.

I'd say any L lens works great, I've never had any AF issues.

Love my Helios lens as well Armando. I just wish it was a little more sharp. Even using my sony's clear image zoom to focus I have trouble because it's simply nowhere near as sharp as even a cheap modern lens. With that said it does have a certain charm, especially the swirly dreamy bokeh!

Problem: rings will shrink over time... the material shrinks so the rings get loose... :-(

Armando Ferreira The material shrinks. This means the material becomes „less“. The outside becomes smaller and the inside becomes smaller. This makes the fit loose. 🤷🏻‍♂️ My experience. Sorry.

I print my rings for 2 years now... nothing new.

Test this gears at least for 1 min on an actual follow focus? NO.

Man, you need more light if really want to show something. You have to understand the difference between artistic lighting and lighting for an educational or promotional-video.
