Yeah Uysk has his left hand cocked while fury was leaning on the ropes and the referee stepped in I actually thought he was going to stop it think if Uysk lands that final left I think fury is done it was all a bit strange

He was on his feet solelt cause of the ropes. Ropes are not there he would go down and get a count. So he got just that a ref count rightly

Fury was only standing because the ropes were keeping him up..the referee counts that as a knockdown so he was correct in giving a standing count..

The standing 8 count is correct because of the ropes holding him up, the issue was that he made it a standing 20 count which was unnecessary.

Agree I had uysk 1,2,3 fury 4,5,6 uysk 7 fury 8 but then 9,10,11 & 12 I gave to uysk but to be fair 11th was a close round I just felt uysk worked a little more. But definitely the right man for the win. Would be happy to see the rematch tho

Im a fury fan and had it 1st 2 usyk, rounds 3-7 Fury in A BIG way, the rest pretty much all usyk but just goes show ya how close that fight really was

I had fury 4-2 up after 6 but by the start of the 12th I had usyk 2 rounds up. Usyk won the 12th too, so I had him winning by 3

as a fight fury got smashed, but as a round by round boxing match it was very close. i gave fury round 2 (2 judges agreed), 4 (2 judges agreed), 5-7 (all judges agreed) and 12 (all judges agreed). 6 each with the 10-8 round edging it to usyk 114-113.

@@kennywilkinson913 Exactly what I had. By the end of round 6 Tyson was the1-4 favourite on the Betfair Exchange and you could get 7-1 for Ollie. I had backed Tyson for a few hefty bets all around evens in the last few months and when he took control and shrank n price I backed Ollie at 7-1 and chucked £40 on the draw at 16-1. If Tyson had never got control I would have lost heavily but in the end I managed to nick £105 when Ollie was announced as the winner. .Fury haters, and there are lots of them, were STILL not happy when Ollie won with most of them saying he was robbed of a knockout. If that was the case, why did both of them get priced at around evens half way through the tenth, with Ollie the slight favourite? He had 3 more rounds to knockout a knackered fighter yet he still couldn't do it. As Ollie won he should be odds on for the rematch, and I will back Tyson again.

Usyk battered him! It was not a close fight one bit fury won a minimum of 4 rounds 3,4,5,6 usyk 1,2,7,8,9,10,11,12 people always fall for furys showboating antics its his way to con people into believing hes winning rounds and it works continously.

Fury now knows he can beat and take his best. You can say what you like but he took his best and won the 12th. That was a 6 6 fight. Fury needs to take it seriously and keep his hands up at all times. If Usyk hurts you you need to take a knee or you'll get splattered. Fury is some MAN tho 💓🥊

Agree with this. Tyson should have finished him in the 6th or 7th before Usyk turned up the heat. He always picks it up in the 9th.

I would rate this fight above Wilder 3 because of the physical odds that Usyk needed to overcome, and for the sheer drama in R9. We all knew Wilder has a dynamite right hand, and that Fury is a smart clever fighter with a great range of skills, so that fight played out as expected. But going into this fight, who knew that Usyk, who doesn't have a reputation as a big puncher, would actually put Fury's lights out? And although we've seen Fury dropped before, and even sparked for a couple of seconds, did we ever expect to see him doing the funky chicken & getting hammered across the ring before collapsing in a dazed heap on the ropes? Nobody ever did that to him before.

Fan of both fighters. On the night i thought a lot of the rounds were much closer than people have seen it.. I had Fury up 5-1 after 6, level (5-5) after 9, Usyk with the next 2 (5-7) & Fury with the last (6-7). Incredible fight!

Now we know who the undisputed is, let's get them belts scattered and give the new gen a chance to forge their path. Fantastic closure to this (my) generation of fighters. But its done now. Let's grasp the opportunity to make heavyweight boxing exciting again. Some great fresh talent on the rise, so let's let them have their chance

If wit was shit you'd be constipated. The HNY message was for the teams who had been out there for new year instead of at home with their families.

Fantastic performance by Usyk. Brilliant fight, closely fought, full of drama, swinging back and forth, it had it all (except the "official"KO!) Full of admiration for Usyk, phenomenal fighter, great human being, great role model and fine ambassador for the sport. He defied the laws of phsics by overcoming such a huge size deficit against an exceptional opponent. But respect to Fury, it wouldn't have been the fight that it was without him, he also showed his great talent especially with those body shots and uppercut. Next top, Wilder vs Zhang. Thanks to the most excellent Turkey!!!

I would agree on the P4P list, as who beats him now? Is there a man on the planet that could lace up a pair of gloves and beat him? I don't think so! He's number 1

Personally I think Tyson should have kept his camp more disciplined. I think he had too many distractions.

You know I've spoken to lots of people who think True and I've heard their reasons and they are compelling but I was also chatting to some guys the other night, real boxing fans, who think False and its funny, you know, I find myself swinging from one side to the other, the more I hear the less sure I am about the answer so I always end up going back to the advice I was given many years ago..." AJ should only be in line to fight usyk again if he holds a vacated belt, and or holds the mandatory position at the time each one is called. Fury vs AJ is the fight to make. Of course, there is the question of the usyk fury rematch and the IBF title race in the way.

The AJ fights were nowhere near as close. AJ was never in charge against Usyk, Fury was between round 3-6. Fury also survived being badly hurt, so I think it's natural to want to praise him as well in those moments.

Joshua saw the shots. All the shots Fury saw he took well. Watch the sloppy combo he launched at Usyk just before Usyk stunned him. If he doesn't mess around Fury wins the fight.

Running away is overstating it. But he was backing off or at least discouraged by those uppercuts to the body, even the feints. He made the adjustment, started countering and holding his feet in the 8th. Once he started exchanging it was over for Fury

I kept going on and on that Tyson hasn’t fought anyone decent in the heavyweight division! A lanky basketball player isn’t top 5! He just had a fight with the best in the heavyweight division. I put down 5k for Usyk to win. It was easy money 💰

Really? Your bet was looking good for the first 2 rounds, but a bit rough from rounds 3 to 7. You could have got 7-1 for Ollie at that stage. Who did you have the money on with, and what price did you get?

I disagree with Adam that Fury doing OK in the 10th has any bearing on the awful refereeing or argument for a stoppage in round 9. He shouldnt have intervened… he robbed Usyk of a KO and he gave Tyson a complete let off.

114-113 either way isnt a robbery. A robbery is 118 - 110 for Canelo in the first fight with GGG.

The talk sport watch along was terrible….4 people shouting over each other. It didn’t work at all.

Usyk should retire, he’s accomplished everything he could possibly do in boxing, is super wealthy and an all time great. Don’t get people calling for an AJ trilogy when AJ has already lost the first 2 fights, he’s done nothing to earn a 3rd. Fury doesn’t deserve an immediate rematch after keeping Usyk waiting all that time. Let AJ and Fury scrap it out at Wembley while Usyk rides into the sunset as the generational GOAT.

Stepping in as he did should have been for a stoppage. Dont get me wrong i also wanted the fight to carry on but if that wasn’t fury it would have been stopped. Imagine if fury suffered serious long term psychological issues as he could not protect himself…he wasn’t there he was gone. Brutal.

Usyk is #1 Fury lost to the best boxer of his generation!

You don’t understand. Usyk joined the army and was fighting, he gave up boxing and went in. But the soldiers said no, go back to boxing and represent us to the world, and they meant it, so he went back to boxing and represented the country. And he’s done it admirably.

Why the f**k would AJ v Usyk happen ...AJ ran In first fight , better in 2nd , but still a chasm between them ..if Tyson Fury gets rid of his dad , probably win replay ..Look AJ just not really a fight 4 many ..the 3 or 4 who u'd expect to beat him , don't need him , and the ones just below , would rather face a smaller puncher .
