Ah, come on, just one? No chance. Masterclass, Usyk’s greatest performance, marred only by shoddy scorecards that didn’t fairly reflect his dominance in the fight. I only gave Fury three clean rounds, 4-6. Had it 8-3 Usyk, one drawn for 117-111. Could’ve lived with 116-112, but it was a schooling. Both will probably retire now, for different reasons. I know Frank has said Tyson will take the rematch, but he won’t. End of an era.

Sorry Tebbutt ain't happening this time mate lol The most important fight in boxing history in my lifetime and to see one of, if not my favourite boxer win the way he did was sensational! I had it 115 - 112 on the night. But, it could easily have been 116 - 111 when you factor the knockdown and the fact the fight IMHO should have been stopped! What Usyk has achieved is nothing short of incredible! What a man, what warrior. Number 1. p4p and top 3 to ever lace em up (IMO) It couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke. So chuffed.

Agree, I can’t believe how many people think the fight was close! I scored it 116-111, if I scored it more generously to Fury i still had him losing by 3 points! I had Usyk winning rounds 1-3 (could make an argument for round two being drawn or possibly Fury winning narrowly). Rounds 4-7 Fury won 8-12 I scored for Usyk with round 9 as 10-8, again you could make an argument for round 12 being a draw or very narrow win for Fury. Usyk controlled the pace of the fight throughout most rounds and his ring generalship was fantastic.

Usyk is and always was the better fighter. There is a reason Fury ducked Usyk for 2 years. People need to have a hard look at Fury's record post Klitschko and his antics in avoiding the top guys. He and Wilder conned the division for YEARS. Fury is a top heavyweight and his story and come back is amazing but best of all time claims was absurd . He was never the best of his own era let alone all time. I always thought Joshua would beat him but again he managed to duck him too for YEARS. I also think Klitschko may have ironed him out in the rematch but again he ducked it. Styles make fights and if Fury faced more of the top 10 he would have lost before Usyk 💯

I’ve followed Usyk for many years and he’s one of my favourite fighters of all time. I couldn’t be happier for him. And as much as I love to watch him fight. I would like to see him retire now. Fury will NOT take this well and I honestly don’t think he can get that out of himself again. And I think Usyk could. But I don’t want him to, he’s completed the game. If there is a rematch, it certainly won’t be this year. I think Tyson falls off the rails now and it gets delayed until the contract is obsolete. If Rematch doesn’t happen Usyk will walk away. If Fury fights again it would be AJ. But, I’m not even confident he’d win that one now. That was a seriously damaging fight. More than the Wilder ones as it was a sustained beating in parts of the fight. And after all the hits Tyson has taken I don’t think he can do this anymore!

I said before the fight Fury should go backwards and throw combinations as Usyk came forward. Fury did the first bit really well. He won 4-6 because Usyk didn't take the risk of getting inside. In 7 Usyk knew he had to take that risk. When he took it, he found he could get inside, and hurt fury. That turned the fight.

Usyk paces himself in fights and often gives away a few early-mid rounds. It gives the illusion that his opponent is coming back into the fight, but in reality Usyk is learning the fighter for his next wave of attack, where he intends to overwhelm with a barrage of shots that will drain the last of his opponents energy and probably KO them. I did see the success Fury had, but from Usyk's POV it was all part of the plan.

Usyk was never in real trouble. NEVER. HE NEVER GOT SERIOUSLY HURT!!!!!!! Because he got hit by few hard punches doesn't mean he was going to get knocked down, or knocked out. Usyk adjusted after the 4th, 5th and 6th rounds. Those rounds were much better for Fury as performance, but they WERE never horrible rounds for Usyk. he was never overwhelmed by Tyson. Tyson tried with long uppercuts, with body shots but didn't do much damage to Usyk, also the way he throws some shots was very awkward. Once Usyk adjusted the fight outcome was clear. There was never a chance that FURY could step on the gas and change the fight in his favor. Please stop immediately with this narrative that Fury let Usyk get away from a knock out after the 6th round. Usyk was never in serious trouble with Fury, not even for a minute. Re-watch the fight, and tell me at what time in the rounds Usyk was seriously hurt. It was NEVER. And also not forget that Fury was throwing low blows, and fighting very dirty, like at 1min 55sec of round 9 when he held Usyk head down illegally, and hit him with 2 illegal uppercuts. The referee never warned Fury to stop cheating, and also on the 9th round was putting himself between Usyk and Fury to stop Usyk inflicting more damage to an already gone to sleep Fury. Stop with the narrative that the fight was close and could have gone either ways, that BS. Please Stop with this BS once for all. Fury has been exposed before by other boxers to be nothing special, and now Usyk showed to everybody that he was a fraud, super hyped by the media and his family. He is a good boxer at best, and that's it. Please don't mention his fight with Wladimir, because that was one of the worst fights I ever seen in my life. That was not a boxing match. It was a shit show. Because he moves well for a giant, that doesn't make him a great boxer. NEVER. He was never special, and he never had a great defence, hence he got knocked down 7 times. That's why he avoided so many good boxers, because he knew it was going to be curtains to his career. And please don't mention Wilder, another fake boxer. To me Fury actually lost the 1st fight with Wilder. Any other referee would have stopped the fight. And everybody knows that. He was lucky to get a draw. And what about the Ngannou fight. That was so embarrassing for Fury and family, that he should have retired then and there. I rest my case. Good day to everyone.

Secondly Usyk is renown for coming on strong in the second half of fights. You need one voice giving instructions on how to implement the game plan or how & when to change the game plan.

What a fight! Electric pace from the start and credit to both men for their bravery and endurance to make it to the finish. They ate some brutal shots and a draw, 114-113 or 115-112 for either fighter is understandable to be honest, it really depends on what you like. Rematch unlikely in October due to the damage they've taken but must happen IMO and a trilogy if Fury wins. I do think we have to do away with this pound for pound term as heavyweights fight a certain way due to their size. Right now Usyk is the best boxer in the world and what an achievement since he was undisputed at 14stone4 and now fighting 18 stone men. You could call him the best ever if you take his amateur career into consideration. What a sport and it's flying at the moment! Much love guys and gals ✌🏻

I’m a bit disappointed in the lack of analysis here: it was a pretty easy fight to read… Usyk takes the first two and a half rounds, baffling Fury with feints and level changes; ducking inside the jab and spearing straight lefts to body and head, Usyk has Fury on the back-foot almost from the opening bell. Fury starts to read Usyk’s rhythm in the third and will go on to take control of the next three and a half rounds; leaning to his left to give him the space to whip up that right hand and catch Usyk coming in, or catch him with a lead left in the mid-range as Usyk looks to reset. Here is the crucial moment. By the 7th, Usyk has switched tactics; his front foot finds the outside of Fury’s lead. He’s cutting off Fury’s space to his onside, forcing him back to his right. This is the genius: Usyk isn’t just taking away Fury’s most potent weapon - Fury’s moving away from his target, that whipping right must travel across his ample frame to reach Usyk - now it’s a vulnerability; walking Fury’s undefended right hand side directly onto his own left cross. Through the 8th and 9th, Fury is beaten. Usyk’s tactical switch has blindsided him in every sense. Not for the first time, Fury will show remarkable powers of recovery to hear the final bell; but the reserves are not there to bend the fight back in his favour. It is a masterful performance from Usyk, and one that seemingly will go largely under-recognised… I also feel you’ve totally missed the point with the referee in the 9th. Fury sags into the ropes after the left hand lands. The ref could’ve counted then, though I don’t criticise him for not doing so. Usyk follows up with a barrage of unanswered shots that leaves Fury reeling into the ropes again. Here the ref gets in between Usyk and Fury, but does not initiate a count. Usyk must walk around the referee to continue his attack as Fury desperately tries to avoid the blows, and again the referee puts himself in between Usyk and Fury but does not initiate a count. Finally, Fury stumbles into the corner and for the first time the referee is not positioned between Usyk and Fury, but this time he does step in to initiate the count, with Fury going on to be saved by the bell. Arguably, this made it look like the ref was trying to save Fury from a lost point by not decreeing the ropes had kept him up; and then to save him from a knockout defeat by decreeing the ropes had kept him up. I don’t think there’s much truth to this narrative, but the scorecards proved the count in the 9th was pivotal. Had Usyk not been given the decision it would’ve stunk every bit as much as Lewis-Holyfield I did. On which, I didn’t score the fight because I wanted to enjoy it as a fan - and I think it’s important to remember that you cannot do both - but my sense was Usyk took an early 30-27 lead, Fury got it back to 66-67, and Usyk closed out at 116-111 with the 10-8 in round 9. The 3rd, 7th and 12th were the swing rounds.

@@Sean-pm3vdhis score isn’t wide at all. Fury only won three clean rounds, 4,5,6. Usyk won 1,2,3,8,9,10,11 clean So already it’s 7-3 with very little debate. The only swing rounds were 7 & 12, and they’re called swing for a reason, ‘cos they could go either way, so you can’t argue with them going to Usyk for a 9 rounds to 3 win, with a 10-8 in there I couldn’t split the 7th so have it even, and I gave the 12th to Usyk, being that Fury was down and badly needed a big round to have any chance, yet it was still Usyk pressing the action and being the aggressors in an otherwise even round. Giving me 8-3 Usyk with one drawn for 117-111. Looks wide, but not when you score round by round and give reasoning. Even if you wanna give 12 to Fury, it’s still 116-112. To even make this fight remotely close in the cards, you have to give every single swing round to Fury, and he still doesn’t win.

'Usyk takes the first two and a half rounds, baffling Fury with feints and level changes...' Yeah, that didn't happen. What were you watching?

Really fair analysis unlike almost every other channel on youtube. There’s people out there saying Usyk dominated 😂 It was a close fight and the rematch is 50/50. People don’t like Fury so talk nonsense but the fact is, no other fighter on the planet beats Fury and he’ll more than likely win the rematch.

Ill be honest its the best heavyweight fight ive seen in years. I honestly thought the only difference was the knockdown. Usyk definitely won. But i had it 6 a piece with the knockdown counting as the extra point. Im not a fury fan but i do think this was his best performance. Usyk is just phenomenal fighter. The rematch is very interesting. I also think it could also be a 50/50 fight. Pre fight i also picked Usyk to win. I also noticed when Usyk came out he spoke some words looking above - i think he knew he was in trouble and was asking for a bit of 'devine intervention' or maybe asking his belated pops for help. But boy did he dig in and fight! Personal opinion only.

"The ref did a fantastic job". Really? So you're saying that he was objective and would have given Usyk the same massive amount of grace he gave Fury? Yeah right. On the one hand you say the refs main priority should always be the fighters health but then you say that he was right to let Fury continue because of the enormity of the occasion. So the fighters health isn't always the priority and you're fine with that. Sounds like a very convoluted attempt to justify the referee's bias.

Usyk has clearly slowed down, there were signs in the Dubois fight. Obviously a 37 year old natural cruiserweight, it's bound to happen. Yet that past prime Usyk still beat up Fury in 12 rounds, way worse than the prime Usyk against AJ over 24 rounds or even against Chisora. We all know Ngannou beat Fury too and he should really have 2 losses in a row now. Fury might not even be in the Top 3 of this era? He's been exposed for what he is in his last two fights.

The more I watch this fight the more it looks like a one sided win for Usyk as far as rounds go. If you’re going by moments than yeah Fury was very close to doing something in ONE round. Overtime people will admit this was minimum an 8-4 win for Usyk plus the knockdown and in reality it was more like a 9-3 win.

That was not a close fight. To basically say without the knockdown or if Fury won the 11th that he should have won it is crazy. It was Fury who was the rabbit. He never pushed Usyk back and was happy to try and win on the backfoot. Why didn't he push Usyk back? Why didn't he force the fight more? Was he wary of getting hit if he went forward? Only Fury can truly answer those questions but I think he was never confident enough of dominating Usyk. Before the rematch Fury must regain that old confidence or the result will be no different. At least he now has no fear of losing his undefeated status. That may actually help. Usyk is truly elite though. Generational top talent. One final word. Why can't one of the 3 of you say what everyone knows? That John Fury is a total dick and does not belong in the corner. There should be six there between you all but you seem to be struggling to find a single pair of balls.
