Adam Savage's Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton
Ғылым және технология
The newest addition to Adam's Cave is a replica of the Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton. Adam acquired raw castings, had them chromed, and then applied weathering effects himself to make it look like a realistic human-hunting machine.

Robert Sivonjic I think Jamie was just more of a down to business "Let's get shit done" kind of guy. Adam wanted to take opportunities to have a bit of fun. It's no wonder discovery teamed them up for a show. They're both equally as awesome to me, but I enjoy watching Adam more due to his personality and niche passions that ring with my own.

Fragacide I've seen Jamie goof around plenty of times on Mythbusters, and its even funnier than Adam because Jamie is usually serious.
You can feel Adam's natural passion and innate enthusiasm for his craft come across in the segment, which is what we all should be striving for in life to give us purpose and meaning. Whenever you hear Adam talk about something, it always easily flows and gets the viewer involved as if they were in the same room.

I really want to thank Adam for teaching us so much in these videos. I used a lot of his tips and tricks for a costume I made this week for a Game of Thrones costume contest that George RR Martin hosted in Santa Fe today and I was one of the winners! Thank you so much for your tips on weathering on this vid and your weathering vid and that aluminum tape trick for wooden swords! It won me tickets to the Santa Fe premiere of Game of Thrones! Thanks Adam, keep on teaching and we'll keep on learning!

Every time I see an Adam video like this, I'm reminded of how I didn't get into the SFX business like I planned back in the 90's. And I feel the pain of that choice every day.
Adam is incredibly gracious and patient with all the interrupting and interjecting of this host. I mean no disrespect, but seriously, the viewers aren't here for YOU. They are here for Adam. Your job is to host the show, facilitate the flow a bit, and encourage the best answers out of Adam so you get good footage for the show. Right? Not to attempt to complete half his sentences and interrupt him with new questions without having given him ample time to answer the previous ones. Your over-zealous approach borders on pushiness. It's incredibly annoying, and it's in every video. I don't know how Adam maintains such patience with it. What a great idea you've had with Tested - just let it shine for what it is, instead of forcing it so much!

I loved the last words in that video. Savage/Terminator: Goodbye Tested: I think it's, "I'll be back". Savage/Terminator: I will be right... (Then in a somewhat dejected sounding rushed voice) I'll be back. 😆 EXCELLENT EPISODE! I always love a peek into Adam's cave.
I've known you've wanted one of these for years. This is SO awesome.
It's beautiful.
Adam, more than you shall EVER know, you have in your possession, one of my Coveted Objects with that T-800 endoskeleton. What is a Coveted Object, you ask? Well, quite simply it is an object that I know I will never own, never get to actually see in person, and if given a realistic chance to have one--I would not be able to scrounge up enough money, time, or energy to see it become my own. I am super Jelly.

7:30 "You know, you can buy one online right now for about six or seven thousand dollars" Oh, Adam :D What a deal!
That thing is the most terrifying thing I've ever seen on screen.
This is so so so so so so interesting to me and just so nostalgic, cool & it makes me remember how during the 90's I had secretly popped "T2 Judgement Day VHS" into the player as a kid when my Mom and Sister were gone from home shopping & I agree with Adam that it terrified me because of a few scenes but the nuke playground scene in particular freaked me out. Love T2 it is by far the best Terminator film.
so I've watched the first two terminator movies, and i will certainly say that so far, out of the whole series, judgement day is the best. i LOVED the t-1000. amazing plot, sinister villain, it has it all.

Lone Wolf yes but in both cases it requires greater technology and knowledge of technology which we lack, And your vinyl carbonate blade is not a light sabre just because it glows (if it does), if its not made of the same materials and if it doesnt work the same way a real lightsaber works then its not a lightsaber its just a flasy sword.

Lone Wolf Obi-Wan's hilt was made from a Rolls-Royce Derwent Mk.8/Mk.9 Jet Engine Balance Pipe. A lightsaber blade's color is determined by the crystal it uses to focus the energy, None of that is technology we even understand or have and if you believe a lightsaber is a sword then no offence but you sir...are a fucking idiot
