Adam Penning "The Return" - Nash Off The Hook Podcast - S2 Episode 134

This week the podcast sees the return of former guest and one of the finest UK big carp hunters Adam Penning.
Adam picks up from where he left off his last podcast talking about his concluding capture of "Tyson" a very big, very hard earned common carp which saw him end his campaign. He goes on to speak about notable other escapades on various other Venus such as The Wharf, The Essex Reserve and also the premier day ticket complex that is Bluebell Lakes.
Adam has recently launched "Pennings Carp Academy" an online educational carp fishing platform and he talks all about how this came to be and how this increased workload and different direction will impact his fishing as well as allow him to spread his vast knowledge to others. For more information on this and to check it out head to the following link....

Finally Adam is known for his outward opinions about such things as COVID vaccinations as well as other global world issues. He talks about his beliefs and thoughts on these matter which he believes need to be shed light upon in order to help educate people future.
As ever its a fascinating insight into and incredible carp fishing mind. Adam is a brilliant story teller and this podcast goes from emotional tears to extreme laughter, its got it all!

Adam Penning really is a great fisherman without all the modern bullshit! And someone who dares to speak openly without fear of being canceled in today's society! And a lot of respect to nash for just leaving this in this wonderful podcast and not cutting out the piece of covid! Free speech will always prevail.

The last 20 minutes struck an emotional chord with me. My best mate for over 40 years died in September after his body basically fell to bits. Bit of back story, he ran or cycled at least 3 times a week, watched what he ate, never had time off work or saw a GP. After his 3rd booster never felt right and just 9 months later was dead from massive haemorrhaging on an intensive care unit. The medical profession never actually found out a proper diagnosis or treatment. I work for the NHS and it was insisted that we have the covid jabs, I would have anyway, I won’t be having anymore. I think about him every day.

Brilliant listen, Adam had to be one of the best communicators in angling and explains the complexities of our sport in such a simple way. Noticed a few comments about the other stuff, probably one of the best summaries of what is going on right now I've heard. The best line is 'once you see it, you can't not see it'. Trouble is so many people don't want to see what's going on and are closed to what's going on right before their eyes. Well done Adam, thanks Nash.

@Carper Smithy The majority of the people who say things like this are simply too scared or stubborn to have a look for themselves. You cannot argue against draconian measures brought in based on false information, like mask mandates for example. Doctors trying to shout from the rooftops about masks being worse for you than the virus, shut down and Twitter accounts suspended. It’s plain to see. It’s a lot easier to fool someone, than it is to show them they’ve been fooled,

Adam is my favourite carp angler. Beginning to end tutorials is like gold dust to me. Learnt more from him than any other by a country mile. Watching carp after carp being landed for 30 mins is not my idea of interesting viewing, but that seems to be lost on other brand sponsored production companies. Adams got it spot on. Thanks mate 👍

He’s absolutely bat shit crazy. I’ve spent the last 5 years avoiding any tackle company that has anything to do with him. Will be doing the same for thinking anglers now & will be selling on the bits I have. @Nash - shocking you allowed this on. Am really disappointed in the company for airing these lies & selective facts without any of the context surrounding them. he sounds clever but to make points about “doesn’t actually stop you getting it” & “are only truly effective once everyone has taken them” show he‘s drunk the kool aid good & proper. Stick to the writing about carp fishing Adam. You’re one of the best in that field, if not the best (until Steve Allcott finally writes a book).
