In expectations? I don't think so. We have the 5th biggest wage budget in the league, and we'll be having a new manager arrive so I wouldn't be surprised if things regressed to the mean a bit next season. Europa League would be acceptable, Champions League would be good, and any trophies won or title challenges mounted would be excellent. This is what every Liverpool fan should expect for next season and its important we do set the bar lower to begin with for Slot so we don't end up with a culture of toxic cyclical disappointment a la Man United

He should 100% get at least top 4 with the current set of players. Be honest, less than 4th for Liverpool is a disastrous failure, especially if you're playing positive attacking football & have the likes of Alisson, Trent, Van Dijk, Mac Allister, Diaz, Salah, Jota in your team.

Don’t expect top 4 really….this is LFC one of the top clubs in Europe. If Slot doesn’t believe or get this then frankly speaking shouldn’t be here. Liverpool need a huge overhaul and it’s thanks to Klopp that they were in a title challenge as long as they were. Against us at The Emirates, I never saw any doubt about the result. We were all over them and wore them down. As the season has continued, the fatigue has shown. This squad is old and is well past it’s best days. This is what I believe Klopp meant when he said he has run out of energy. It’s still there on the touch line. Not meaning to sound arrogant, but Arsenal are now waiting to take over. Pep is leaving in 2025. I have no doubt about that. Once he goes, the dominance of Liverpool and City will be over. I don’t know why but something tells me it could be Arsenal and Newcastle challenging for the title in two seasons time. That is of course unless we sign Isak from Newcastle first.
