It's on both the players and the manager, but the players have to learn to understand each other and the manager can only so so much to help with that.

If you understand football you could differentiate between no tactic at all and player fail to execute tactic. For United case the problem is player fail to execute coach tactic because physical limitation and technical limitation. Most United player don't have physicality to play high intensity and high pressing football, they almost outmuscle and outrun by other EPL team.

@@youngen_1239 yes we would as other teams have improved all season long our wingers don’t pass or cross the ball why isn’t he changing it he doesn’t have a clue we wasn’t that good last season either if you look back at the results and all the pumpings we got he could easily just play a youth cb next to Evans and stop playing casimiro but no and he went with casimiro at the back now against arsenal and what happened casimiro again made a mistake and led to a goal because the manager keeps playing him in defence when it clealry doesn’t work yet he still does it

The title is gone for Arsenal. One London club has rolled over for City and two more are waiting in the wings. Doesn't matter who wins on Sunday. I think Rory is hoping United win it so he can call Arsenal names.

Ten Hag hasn't helped himself best of times & has made alot of mistakes but i think it's unfair to blame our shambles of a season on just him when it's many different factors as to why we've such an embarrassing season. Many of the players in that squad have either regressed massively, aren't good enough or are too old. Also the amount of toxicity among the squad is a joke always downing tools it's been the same familiar pattern for numerous years now. There are far bigger issues than Ten Hag

Manager has had 2 summer transfer windows to move players on. He's far too weak to even do that. Maguire to West Ham last season showed that. McTominay also. The Manager has a far too weak a personality to move players on. He's weak mate. United need a strong manager with a strong personality. Roy Keane will get these players out, then hand over the baton to an elite manager/tactician that knows the league.

Or maybe it's just a rotten club? Deluded fans sensationalise any new signings, regardless of how good they are. Club facilities are falling apart. Also, Fergies dodgy dealings put the club at risk, plus he used his own son as agent to steal money. And the club has never recovered from the corruption since. There has not been any investment anywhere. You can't blame recruitment on ETH because the glazer team is so slow to finalise any deal.

I'm an old man, so I can remember the UTD before Ferguson. Where they are now is where they were then. Between 67 and 93 they were a cup team (3 FA cups and a European cup winners cup.) I would suggest that without Ferguson, who was a once in a lifetime appointment,UTD are at their natural level.

Why is this argument coming down to a binary of it's either the manager's failings or the players' fault? It's clearly both, but even the latter falls under ten Hag's pervue.
