After pressure washing the engine bay on my 2015 Acura RDX, all the alert messages came on. I used the technique you delivered here, and all is well. Thanks!

Kris, thank you so much for making and posting this immensely helpful and clear video. I used it on my 2009 Acura TL to finally purge a "Check Engine Oil Level" message that was sitting there for the last 3 years! It is also helpful to learn how to access this built-in diagnostics menu. Again, many thanks for this video.

@@ryanlopez4371 The codes could be from a long time ago, and are no longer valid. Now that you have cleared them out you only need to worry if they reoccur.

Bummer.

So I tried this on my acura. Now my car is completely dead. Lights went crazy it beeped several times and now the dash will light up and shut off. Car won't start nothing. Be careful please you can scramble the brain. I only hope this I can afford to get this fixed.

Update doing this set off my anti theft system for some reason. The car the went into some weird light flashing and clicking loop. This killed the battery. After letting it sit overnight with no power we charged the battery and now everything seems fine. So if you accidentally activate the kill switch and can't reset it remove all power. Worked for me.
