Hi george, i have ILX 2016 with HDMI input how can i prodcast my android phone on the screen while driving. with HDMI cable and mini usb converter for the phone I was able to get to the self diagnosis screen and choose HDMI input then i can see my phone on my both screens. however all other functions will stop for instance the volume, sound if you playing youtube. any idea how to bypass this

No not yet. In older Acuras all you had 2 do is switch around few pins on the back of the head unit. I did not have a chance to mess with ilx like that yet

No there is no easy way to do it via software that is on the unit. But there is a way to make it work by removing head unit and change few wiring pins around.

Press map menu and cancel then you can reset it from there. If you need step by step by stem instructions let me know

I want to buy a honda odyssey ex-l 2012. I spoke to the seller and he told me it doesn't come with navi software. Can I install a new firmware/software just like how when we install new images on Arduino, raspberrry Pi, etc? Thanks!

No it will not work. You need to add gps antenna and replace radio unit and replace dash wiring harness

No i have only done one. I did not do video on it. I ended up not replacing the whole dash harness i only added 6 additional wires to the harness.

my rl has a blue tint screen would this work ?
