    Great video is love to do something similar to this any idea what I can use as the glue to draw on the tray before the leaf goes on I'm in the UK 🤔

    Thank you Kristi!! Does the clear coat help keep the gold leaf from sticking to the paint and only to the adhesive or is it to just seal the paint? Asking because I tried it on resin and the leafing stuck everywhere, even areas with no adhesive!! Thought acrylics might not do that so was intrigued with your use of the clear coat. Thanks again, Great video!!!

    Yes, the clear coat keeps the gold leaf from sticking. Acrylic paint tends to have a tacky feel to it even after it's dry, and that slight tack will cause the gold leaf to stick to places you don't want it to stick. The clear coat dries really hard and doesn't have that tack to it when it's dry, so the gold leaf won't stick to it.
