ACLR Rehab: Deceleration drills

No point driving a Ferrari if you don't have any brakes right!?
So here's a couple of simple deceleration drills you could bring in to your mid stage rehab plan to help you manage the late stage rehab and return to on-field, sport specific training.
Note: a decent level of quad strength is required to handle these tasks, so make sure you try these with your treating physio first.
For me, I'd be looking at introducing these type of drills after the 3 months post op mark and when the athlete has shown that they've restored at least 70% quads strength of their uninjured limb, and has proven that they can tolerate a return to straight line running plan.
