These dudes are absolutely nuts. No respirator no eyewear.

One major mistake most inexperienced pool guys make. They'll step in the acid in the pool, then walk all over the concrete outside the pool. That leaves permanent footprint stains in your concrete. Be smarter than that, rinse your feet always, or cover your walking area.

Theyre going to get Lung Cancer and need to sell meth in order to leave there family dept free when they die from it.

My pool is old and was painted a long ago (I'm guessing). When I'm dumping out the leaves from the vacuum I notices little paint chips on the leafs and inside the vacuum bag. Also, when I'm skimming the bottom of the pool, the waters becomes cloudy quickly. I'm in the process of getting quotes to resurface the pool. Will this acid was process improve my pool a bit longer?

Why no rose on the watering can?

QUESTION... I'd like to acid wash my pool this Fall when draining it for Winterizing it. Is it a bad idea not to refill the pool after acid washing? I only want to do the sides of the pool as a test and thought I could acid wash them while closing... bad idea???

If your gonna acid wash be ready to fill within a few hours do not ever put chemicals on a surface and leave it at that But good luck with your project acid washes sometimes do nothing but other times the pool will.look brand new I hope yours will be the latter good luck and God bless

Did you use baking soda to neutralize the acid in the bottom??

This is to reduce the exposure of the chemical that they're inhaling which can affect their lungs.

What ratio of muriatic acid to water did you use? 100% acid or 50/50?

It depends on the pool we usually start low and work up. All stains and pools react differently.

Muratic acid which is dilluted hydrochloric acid
