Awesome it really helped me alot. Especially your warning about audio connector while removing the bottom cover.

Thank you so much. This was very easy to follow and I succeeded!! I did find the small plug difficult to remove & push back, so on the SEOND time I took the laptop apart, I was just careful to support the bottom with lead attached (of course removed the battery lead). Again GREAT demonstration.

Earlier HDD was Western Digital, since a year I have installed Samsung 250GB SSD as primary and using WD 1TB into DVD drive slot using HDD caddy. Thank you, Have a GOODTIME...

Hey so real quick. Why did you take off the entire back of the computer when you only need to remove 3 screws to get that where the hard drive goes

On a number of newer laptops there is no removable door or panel to allow access to the hard drive. Like the model shown here you have to remove the entire rear cover to get to it.

to access the hdd, you need to take the entire back cover off

It also needs a new Cd-Dvd drive

Could you help me please, its really important to me, i wanted to update my hdd, i wanted to know if it is available M.2 SSD for this laptop ? Or i need to change hgg with SATA SSD ?

I'm studying the board layout closely, and I don't see a slot for an M.2 or NVMe drive. I had the same question, and it doesn't appear to be supported. It will, however, support a SATA 2.5" SSD drive.

my laptop is also same company and same model but it turned off automatically and the repaired man said that it over charged and after repair it worked and one day it turned off and after one day its turned on and worked and it turned off another time.

MY ACER DOES NOT HAVE A CDROM

No one told me to clone the old hard drive first. Now I have nothing. It won't boot or anything. It's toast 😭😭

hey, ik this is a bit late, but you should make a usb windows 10 tool using microsoft's website. Just search it up on their website its called windows 10 media creation tool, plug that usb in ur laptop and go into bios and select to boot from usb, then you should download the windows from the usb into ur hdd. then boom, you have windows again
