Fifteen years later, I'm still getting goosebumps from watching this trailer. They probably won't ever make a remake of this game, but it's for the best. You don't mess with greatness.

I concur completely with you on that. I own 0,4,5,6 and assault Horizon. I think 5 was the best followed by 0 and then 4 in my opinion.

after years of playing this game to mastery and beyond, the trailer brings me to tears.

Watching this in 2018.. oh man.. what a blast from the past.

The only games I ever took to the highest difficulty. Loved the effin Ace fights. I would always get pumped to see which team I would face. They were fun to duke it out with. They need HD remakes with 5 and Zero. I could do without Shattered Skies, 5 and 0 had a very personal feel to them and you cared about your wingmen.

I really hated my wingmen in 5, because of all the radio chatter they caused and really didn't do much. In Zero with just one wingman to help you out, radio chatter was minimal and he actually destroyed enemy targets.

5 will be my benchmark for quality of story telling. 5s story alone makes me want a remastered on Xbox One. And get Blur Studios to redo all the cutscenes like they did for Halo 2. And run the game in the Unreal engine like 7.

AC5 is my favorite AC but this comes in extremely close second. We need remakes of 4,5,0 right now! "The curtain rises."

Holy crap, that intro sent shivers down my spine. Wow.

It is very long time since I played this awesome game, actually all of the Ace Combat series are my favorites. But this trailer and the music, bring the feel and memories I play with my PS2. Glory days man, respect! :)

The music makes me feel like they are in some kind of dance, but a deadly one at that.

I just noticed something, Larry Foulke is Belkan in nationality, Belka is based on Nazi Germany. when he describes the 3 aces, he makes a 3 with his index finger, middle finger, and thumb. That i the german "3" whereas the english 3 is formed with index, middle, and ring fingers.

God! I miss the days when E3 was full of amazing game trailers!!!! I know gameplay is important but just take a look at this I get exited everytime I watch it and It's an 11 years old game!!!!

What made This game so intense was Ace combat 5. You remember how intense it was, the feel of the control in your hands. You couldn't shake off the dust of AC5, You couldn't you didn't want to, then Here comes the snow, Yep ACzero another intense game.

AC:Z had the best story in my opinion. In AC5, your buddies just kept bitching about how "horrible war is" and shit. Why in the hell were these people in the air force anyway?! AC5 was epic, but the characters in Zero seemed more realistic. They knew they were mercs fighting for money, but there were the Belkans and what they were fighting for, and the World With No Boundaries trying to make the world better (In their opinion.) I WANT ANOTHER ACE COMBAT STORY JUST AS GOOD AS ZERO!!!

Zero was the best Ace Combat game to date in my opinion. The Story, controls, the dogfights. All were just so perfect.

The Ace Combat series is the greatest series I have, or ever will, play! Zero is probably my favorite!

I can still remember the Belkan War like it was yesterday. I won't forget that pilot that shot me down way back then. The Demon Lord of the Round Table.

Overall I think that Taurberg Sword mission was the hardest. I got killed by that damn laser I don't know how many times. Those belkan aces are good granted, I can see where they got their reputation for being the best.
