I love watching these trailers and seeing what people had to say back then. I never got to play this game but I've played AC7 and I'd say it holds up to the PS2 trinity. What's everyone else think?

At release many player dislike this game because it was a free to play. However the game receave a massive number of free content and was popullar until closure . Infinity was coop and in the end you had almost all boss of the franchise . It was also funny because you can use prop WW2 plane and cold war bomber (B2 and B1 )

@@TheLeader24 Well, the fuel system was kinda garbage and seriously limited how many times you could play the game per day. I remember many people saying they'd prefer to have an option to pay full price for it and have the limit removed.

Ace combat: infinity is basically a greatest hit combined into one game and add more crazy version of that mission for you to play

All the money that went into Ace Combat infinite created the available budget for Ace Combat 7

Ace combat 7 in multiplayer does use this music from this game. Whichh is good. They just recently put the single lines aircraft in the game just recently which you could buy the plane only for like 5 bucks. Or buy the original aircraft series bundle which includes my Ace combat 6 cfa 44.

+SoloWing88 The only problem in this game is waiting for you'r fuel to refill :3 but i got so many great golden crates for using lots of fuel to get tons of money. I got CFA-44 Strigon Leader, R-101, Nagato and other etc. 4 star and 2 star planes :3 Too bad upgrade cost tooooo much and playing for months cannot complete your plane upgrades -_- How the F can you get Millions of money to upgrade a f4cking 4 star plane and upgrading its weapons and module -_- But it did not stop me from playing this game, because this game is the most awesome ace combat game that i ever played >.

+SoloWing88 Well there is always invite ingame and you can set ingame rules if you host the game ^_^ You can kick people with Red Latency and only allow peoples with green latency.

Man, I miss this. Thank you so much for a great game. Now that we got Skies Unknown coming out, all of this was definitely worth it.

Fantastic trailer for a fantastic game. The monetization system could be better, yes, but it doesn't take back from a fantastic game. I've enjoyed it up until I had to return my borrowed PS3, and manage to perform well and have a lot of fun on just the starter packs. The vitriol being thrown around in the comments is, frankly, unwarrented.

Got this recommended I really wished this game was still in playable never got the chance.

This was the game that got me into this series😌🔥 yes I got the previous ace combats from 2 and up but this one (for me) was the best💫 oh how I miss infinity

This played at the end of ACI.... and we had to wait for the full story... Instead we got a half assed story about some bitch, a liar, a massive plot hole, some jack ass, oh there's a princess and some old guy flying planes that you have to shoot down. and Edge makes a pointless cameo... BUT WHAT ABOUT CAMILLA?!?!!?

I missed Ace Combat Infinity and wished it was available again but this time for the PS4.

I would have gladly paid full price $60 even $80 for this, but the nickel and dime'ing of this free to play model just killed all the fun for me, did the free sorties which were fun but just couldn't force myself to buy fuel, after 2 weeks of only free sorties i stopped. You put in a purchase for unlimited fuel and I will be back tomorrow Bandai - until then looking forward to the next full Ace Combat

***** Exactly, thats what I did. Then you just save fuel by doing challanges, and when you want use it all in one burst. Currently have 53 stocked fuel, and havent purchased any (And I used up another 60 free stocked fuel back in early september)

I really wish they would make a ace combat game where all the aces from previous games had to unite together against a threat which threatens the world, like I don't know a death cult or something considering that many groups in the strangereal have so many combat and millitary power when quite frankly they shouldn't have so a death cult having massive amounts of military hardware isn't that difficult to imagine question is ace combat infinity canon to the strangereal universe if so the fact that humanity has been hit by 2 asteroids/meteors could be a motivation

Yeah..it's a beautiful piece of music, and it really did set the tone of Ace Combat 4 Distant thunder (aka 'shattered skies' ) beautifully. I was about to answer the question everyone is asking about the end theme song..but you've already done it, and credited the artist too. Top job. Cheers.

I REALLY wish ace combat wasnt so underrated as it is right now, especially with infinity unfortunetly getting such a low score. The game deserves Much more credit than what it is getting. Sure ACAH wasnt such a great game, but I personally feel infinity makes up for that! The game went back to its roots and made it available for EVERYONE to play. It may be a F2P, but its a good one and worth trying! Lets give this game some attention and hopefully well see a Next gen Installment!!! Fingers Crossed!!!

Shayan Omer doesn't mean it has that many players its a f2p game those types normally have alot of downloads but the drop rate is just as high

Please bring back the campaign! I really did enjoy playing it with so many aircraft from the line up!

I wouldn't bet on them just stringing this game out forever with the exact same model. New map every 4-6 months. Tournaments to swindle money from people a few times a month. Then they'll just let the game die. The game has been out a long time now and there is STILL only one game mode. It's absolutely horrific management of a fantastic game. Imagine if they had people in charge who were competent and not just out for money.

Namco Bandai does the same thing with all their games. The issue is they are the biggest company to bring games to the world from Japan. They seem to have a monopoly on it. They also must bid low and gouge the game creators seeing as so many games having something to do with them. They are the EA of Japan.

I bought an unlimited campaign ticket. Got S's on all of the missions so far! :D I really do wish this was a full game. With the time Namco has put into this, they could have released this as an all out game, and have doubled the money they have made so far. I mean, I understand the PR side to this. Release the game for free, see how many people download it and like it enough to spend their money. If they spend their money, add another 1 to the Ace Combat fans that will actually buy the full game. But while you are catering to new customers, which I understand is essential, you are alienating your current fan base. Also, I want the fucking Wardog and Pixy paint schemes for my planes! Why can't I buy those yet?! D:

If the veterans don't want to play it they'll just go back to an earlier installment in the series as every fan base to every game ever made does when they don't like the newest game, if anything much of the "current" fan base will be the ones to spend the most money on this game.

***** I agree. The campaign was a colossal waste of time. You could finish it in under 90 minutes and there story was written by a 3rd grader.

these games always have the same formula but they're fucking amazing so we buy it anyways.

Still technically in the Strange Real...They gave us really advanced tech [CFA, the Ridgeback plane, STONEHENGE, and the flying fortress Moby Dick.], with a real environment. Seems good enough to me. AH took all of that out and gave us the real.

doubt it.. 6 and AH built quite a community on the xbox. Plus Console exclusives really don't work as well as they use to in the past. Namco would be shooting itself in the foot once again money wise by making this an exclusive.

Bring this shit back. What the actual fuck. What a waste of money going into that game. It's amazing to see old worlds remade in more modern graphics. It's a shame to let it all go to waste. Assault Horizon can remain dead. That game is a piece of shit, but this? Fuck me, this was incredible.

X-02 Wyvern and ADF-01 actually came out on Ace Combat Zero. Which was the best of the best series out there! Especially when they had good REAL planes such as, Tornado Gr. 4, Mirage 1, A-6 intruder and J35J Draken. :D
