you gotta admit. Ace Combat's a tough franchise to sink.. even 20 years after its inception. That ship has a relatively small but fiercely loyal fanbase. These fans could strut their stuff and fall in love with other games like BF, CoD, CS, any other games.. but when the franchise they keep closest to their hearts call, you can bet your sweet ass that they'll answer that call... and frankly, I'm one of them.. who's with me on this?

TheDihan8 they probably are, they're involved in everything. They supplied the rebels in AC2, they probably were secretly helping the Eruseans during the events of AC 04 (the Belkan V2 missile in the central silo of Megalith, the fact that Yellow 13 served in the Belkan Air Force during the events of AC Z, and the fact that Anton Kupchenko, aka Gault 1, went on to design Stonehenge, are proof of this)

The missile in Megalith does not have Belkan Air Force markings on it. It is clearly the decagon roundel of the Federal Erusean Air Force. Anton Kupchenko was killed when he was shot down by the Galm Team.

When console graphic witness a great change, Ace Combat reveals it self...... First as a demon. As a demon, it uses its Close-range Assault to rain death upon the fans, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Ace Combat returns, this time, as a great hero.

6 may not have been the best of the main line (and X360 exclusive; it was my first game on the 360), but it certainly wasn't a bad game by any known metrics. Sure, subpar next to its older brothers, but a fine gem nonetheless; especially compared to games like HAWX or Event Horizon.

I've wanted those two countries to go at after playing the 3rd and 5th installments. Also, you never know.... If Osea was smart they would've had our RAZGRIZ train a new generation of potential ace pilots to replace them as a new reborn Razgriz. Than allow our squad to retire to a happy peaceful life

to be honest this is one of the most pacific eras in history, and cosidering how nations are bonding together in groups like the eu, brics and mercosul, we are close to it, but probably, when it is done , our kids will see it on other news: the fucking f 15 will have a sequel that is supposed to stain in service to the 2030/2040's (or more) and it will carry EVEN MORE FUCKING MISSILES, it will be called f15x (im not certain)

Such a great game for a small audience compared to other games, i really salute them that the game is everything the trailer pointed ❤

So Osea is evil? Then again in Unsung War, I wouldn't call them heroic. The Belkans had them and the Yukes strung along like puppets, though they were pretty stupid to just automatically assume Wardog was at fault for something they had no evidence for.

MagnaSonic3000 Osea was as much to blame for the Belkan War as Belka itself as they tried to economically cripple Belka prior to the war, leading to the election of far right leadership. Not to mention they're a massive federation that keeps up swallowing nations somehow and controls half a continent.

Alex Moor it was still an pretty vague respond that Miyazaki made, I'm still skeptical about it really, but we'll see, it will probably be at 2018 or 2019 we'll get an official announcement from Miyazaki (considering a lot of Armored Core fan said it will never be as good as the old one) I just want an HD remakes really :/

Saw the letter to fans saying the release is to be delayed to 2018, and honestly I'm totally fine with that. I'd rather have a near perfect Ace Combat then the half broken games that have come out *cough cough Cod and Battlefield cough cough*

project ace's greatest strength is they're innovative and isn't afraid of taking risks like assault horizon, but theyre utmost priority is listening to their fanbase and committed to not dissappointing the fanbase like with assault horizon

It's getting close to the events of Ace Combat 3. Now Namco should do an AC3 remake. Better yet , AC4 , AC5 and ACZero remaster.

This trailer brought back the tingle in my spine when I watched the trailers for Shattered Skies, Unsung War, Belkan War and Fires of Liberation which I lost when I saw the Assault Horizon

as an ace combat fans since ace combat 2 and electrosphere, watching this gave me chills.

Great dogfight+great music = ace combat. Can't wait for the latest installment!

I pray this game takes a good 40 hours to finish. I'm sick of these modern games costing 60 dollars just for a 6 hour campaign

Knightmare No.49 Great. So i'm supposed to spend 60 dollars on a damn movie!?! fuck that! I'm really dissapointed. I''m sick of these modern games costing an arm and a leg, yet having little content. Their 4-5 hours will be more like 3 hours for me! I don't care about replayability. I want a long campaign full of lore!! As one of Ace Combats biggest fans, I'm giving up. Ko Shay i dunno its a real credible information or not, but it is rumoured to have 4 hours of Gameplay, at least there's multiplayer which something I could get behind on, or.... you could just wait for a sale that discounts the game (which probably when I will buy the game :p) even though I may want to remind you this: Ace Combat Zero only has 3 Hours Gameplay, and Ace Combat 4 has 4 and a half hours as far as I could remember (this information was acquired from one of the Ace Combat Discord Channel and this was discovered by speedrunning the whole game excluding the different styles you could do with Ace Combat Zero), and yet this two brings a lot of things in that short of time, so adding the fact that they took a lot of time to polish this game, that they probably will add an Online Multiplayer on it on every console except Switch, I said this was a very "generous" thing a developer would give to us fans of the series, even the funds came from us too that plays Infinity and bought fuels to do Raids and other things, it is more generous than buying a game focused on Multiplayer (while having not that great of a campaign and even shorter than this game) and priced it over 60$, yes I Am Loooking At You EA

I remember first playing the ace combat game. It’s been awhile since one of these games came out. I will be getting soon as it’s out. Hope it’s good. Graphics so far looks amazing.

You're all giving way too much excuses. Guess you guys weren't here when the whole AC6 debacle started, huh? The real reason of why this game's delayed is pretty much because of that PSVR gimmick. Designing a VR game is very different compared to your typical game. Project ACES pretty much has to make the game all over again. The game's probably not even finished yet when they demo the VR.

lol TheRibbon Road Creating a VR version of a game is not "making the game all over." It's a very simple process actually, one that many amateur developers and gamers have done with the Oculus and Vive. The reason for the delay is most likely the choice to multiplatform the game (thanks a lot, Microsoft). So in that regard, yes, they are now making a game "all over again." So now they have to make a PS4/Pro, XBoxOne/Scorpio, and PC version instead of just a PS4Pro one.

Seeing old locations like Oured, Farbanti, and the rest of Osea/Erusea in HD will be epic.

Cariburn, Forneus, Apalis and Fregata better come back. This is clearly past 2020, with widespread TLS, space elevators and stuff.

TheLaXandro our lovely superfighters were in the hands of Osea's southern neighbors, so maybe we'll get a glimpse. At this point in the timeline, the Lesath-Aurelian War should be drawing to a close with the destruction of the Fenrir, so who's to say they exported some versions to Osea...They did have the Wyvern and Falken flying in formation after the Cirum-Pacific War (according to Aces at War) and the X-02 technically was an EASA design before being sold to Yuktobonia so perhaps we may see it again. One of the best things PA has done is introduce fictional fighters, and the designs always jog the mind of curiosity (PLEASE make the ADA-01B Adler canon and not just Infinity filler)

Okay so Im gonna cry, this has been my favorite game series since I was like 10. Ive beaten all the classics on every difficulty unlocking every skin. I AM READY

Yep, still holds up as one of the best trailers in gaming.

Coming to Xbox One, thought it was going to be exclusive to PS4. Great to see it's coming to more platforms for a larger audience!

You're not far off lol just toss in a pinch of existentialism and a teaspoon of anti-war. It's a very nice combination of arcade and simulation. I suggest, if you'd like to get a taste of how Ace Combat works, you try playing (or watching someone play) Ace Combat 5 or Ace Combat 04. However, they're both for the PS2 (you can also emulate them on PC).

Holy crap man, only thing i can say looking back at the trailer after the full release is that we got what we got promised Also R.I.P Full Band and Tabloid

Guess Osea's now also the enemy...sort of. We'll probably be another third party that starts out fighting as the dogs of one side, then coming out as heroes that expose the scums of the war and be praised high to heavens. With Kono (AC5, ACZ) remaining as Producer and the guy behind ACX2/AC:JA as the Director, the story's pretty much set in stone.
