Thank you! 😊
Absolutely stunning quilt. I’ve had trouble with ruffling in the past. I’ve become a big fan of starching. I usually prep my fabrics and starch before I cut, it helps to make it a little more stable and reduces stretching. It’s not perfect but it helps.

I agree with you! Starch and really made a difference in my quiltmaking. Thanks for watching.
Dear viewers, if you haven't bought Carol's "Block of the Day" books for 2023, I highly recommend them! I just received the last installment yesterday. A wealth of information!

Thank you so much for the review of my books. I had so much fun writing them!
Thanks so much for sharing this. I recently bought this die, along with the Turkey in the Straw die to do the quilt AccuQuilt featured on their website. I enjoy your teaching style, very clear and concise. Thanks!

I love this. I don't have an accuquilt. I guess I can look for a similar pattern. You are such an amazing instructor and I love your tutorials. Thank you for sharing ❤

Thank you for the work sheets. This will make it easier to sew from my stash.
Carol. How do you do this pattern if you do not have aqua quilt. Kind regards Heather from Melbourne Australia ❤😊

I have the Go! Die but I also like to do foundation paper piecing! One if my favorite blocks!😄😄👍
Thank you for letting me know Carol❤😊
I found the section on how to lay out the pieces on the die very useful especially how to check coverage and then removing the cut pieces very very useful. A methodical approach is the way to get success. The last section on piecing tips was also very helpful so thank you once again for your detailed video. I could do with one on the ;log cabin die . I've bought it and cut some pieces out but I'm undecided whether it's one I should keep long term or not .

I'm so glad the video was helpful to you! Did you make a log cabin test block? I find that answers my question pretty fast! I had the log cabin block and loved it. Our guild used it for part of a donation quilt and the blocks came out perfectly. I was downsizing so I sold mine. Sometimes I wish I still had it. I wouldn't be in a hurry to part with it until you are satisfied you will not use it. In the meantime, enjoy it! Thanks for watching.
I do love that blue fabric!! I made several pineapple blocks way way back in the “olden days” - have no clue how I did them other than they are machine pieced. Just located them and I used a fabulous red and an off white/snow. Just looked at them and I’m amazed at how well they look, but now I have my sweet Accuquilt machines that can cut so much more accurately and a whole lot faster!😄😄😄. Maybe if I can locate more of the background fabric (I’ve used Kona Snow for many years so!) I can make more red blocks with a different but same hue red😄😄

That would be awesome! I made a red and white Winding Ways quilt with the AccuQuilt die. It was beautiful and my brother has it now. I am planning a blue and white quilt but don't know the pattern yet. Good luck with your Pineapple!

@@CarolThelenone of my favorites is hunters star. I made one with the AccuQuilt die in blue and white and loved the way it turned out
I love how using these dies is so quick and efficient but it certainly comes out at a price! Guess you just have to decide what works the best for you. Great video Carol.

That's right. When I first started with AccuQuilt I used the smallest machine for many years because you can do so much with that little machine. I bought it just for HST. Over the years I have added a few more dies and a larger machine. Thanks so much for watching!
I’ve used various AccuQuilt dies successfully but this video gave me so many great time saving ideas for info I could mark right on the die foam. Also love your calculation system. Thank you so much for everything you do to help us be better quilters. ❤❤❤

My pleasure. I ususlly use a silver Sharpie on the dark foam and the black Sharpie on the light foam. I lost my silver pen somewhere! Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have had this pineapple die for 2 years and have made multiple test blocks that ALWAYS came out with ruffles. Never flat. I will give this a try and hopefully be successful in finally making a whole quilt. Appreciate your teaching methods. I’ve learned a lot of techniques and how to organize for a less stressful experience with piecing from watching your videos.

Carol, thank you very much for this video. I have this die since last year but I found it so intimidating that I have not tried it. But today you gave me all I need to make this quilt . Have a great day and see you soon for another great tutorial.
