ACA Allertor 125 (8/12) - Full Alert - Lee's Summit, MO

Ойын-сауық

After half of the KC metro cancelled due to storms for the second time in a row that I've been here, I decided to just go here and check this out. Reminded me a lot of a Cyclone going off both sound and volume wise.

Before anyone says this is reverse wired, pre-1972 Allertors will rotate the *opposite* direction the chopper spins, meaning that the chopper is spinning the correct way (counterclockwise) on this. 8/12 Allertors, and 8/12 Allertors only, are supposed to rotate clockwise.

@@1000BT Nah, it's the voltage as well as the brand of motor. Reverse wiring would only increase the pitch due to there being less resistance.

ACA made this 8/12 port because they wanted to compare it to the Cyclone, the Cyclone was omni directional and this is rotational

@@nancylucas7815 It's one of many things. Voltage as you said, or it could be the type of motor (some are better than others) or condition of the motor (Woodstock's was damaged in a storm 30 years ago so that may be why it's the lowest-pitched 8/12 Allertor despite being wired the wrong way).
