The days are starting to warm up and soon I’ll be starting to think about gardening. Until then, I’m using my creativity to connect with the grounding energy of the earth by creating a watercolor geologic abstract. For me, this painting process is intuitive, mindful and relaxing. I always enjoy your videos and your process of intuitive creation. This video in particular is one of my favorites for some reason. You started a little differently, maybe because you were tired, but I loved how you worked with this painting. I want to say it felt more determined and yet still very meditative. It was a really beautiful outcome 😊.

This is one of my favorites. I just love how your colors blend. Im trying very hard but having a hard time with colors blending so nicely. Ill keep at it though😊

Thank you again Trina 💕🤗 Keep at it with color blending - it comes with practice and experience. 😉 I'm glad to see you're not ready to throw in the towel ☺️. The more you do it, the easier it will get over time. When you are working, make sure to give yourself time to observe what is happening at every step, with the water, the paint and how it they react to the paper you're using. One thing that helps me is to work with light washes of color rather than using a lot of pigment when I'm blending. And also, if I want to conserve the integrity of a color already on my paper, I will let the paper dry completely and then come in with a light wash of a different color in some areas. Then, I clean my brush and come in with a wet clean brush to gently move the edges of the other color out into other parts of the painting. I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much for making the time to connect ❤️
Beautiful. I really like your geological abstracts and want to try some myself. This one has some of my favorite color combinations, too.

@@gabrielleannacormierart yes I feel the love you have with art and letting the paint on the brush speak through you. I know how hard it is to just let go and the brush dance on the canvas I’ve made a lot of work that way lately and comparing it to doing portraits or landscapes etc.. I find it so much more relaxing and rewarding at the end. I also don’t critique it as much. So I enjoy looking at it. I’m glad you’re in tune with your body too.

Thank you so much for being here with me ❤️🤗 Yes, you are correct! I did draw in my shapes using a pencil before starting to define them. It wasn't very visible on video so I decided to omit this during editing. But, it is a helpful way to define shapes before committing to paint. The lines usually aren't visible in the end and can easily be erased if necessary (before adding the paint). ☺️

Allô Monika ❤️🤗 Je suis désolée de voir que la traduction de la vidéo n'a pas marchée... C'est bizarre parce que je n'ai rien changé de mon côté. Heureusement, la seule chose que j'ai vraiment partagée c'est que je me sentais fatiguée et pas tellement parlante. 😉 J'ai donc surtout peint pendant cette vidéo et je suis contente de voir que le contenu visuel était descriptif assez. J'ai fait un peu de recherche pour voir s'il y a une raison pour expliquer le manque de traduction. J'ai trouvé quelques vidéos dans lesquelles on parlait qu'il pourrait y avoir un problème relié aux antécédents associés au contenu déjà visualisé par le passé. Je ne sais pas si j'explique le problème assez bien... Mais grosso modo, j'ai effacé mon historique de recherche sur Google et sur KZread et si le problème est de mon côté, ce devrait être résolu. Sinon, il se peut que c'est un problème technique de ton côté. Peut-être que ça pourrait t'aider de faire une enquête comme la suivante: ''Pourquoi ne suis-je pas capable de voir la traduction d'une vidéo sur KZread?'' J'espère que cette information va t'aider! Désolée Gabrielle d'avoir nécessité toutes ces recherches. Je pense que ça vient de youtube car cela arrive de temps en temps et en principe tout se remet en ordre sur les vidéos suivantes. Je pense que ça ira sur la prochaine vidéo (sur celle-ci ça ne marche toujours pas, donc ça ne vient pas de ton enregistrement). C'était juste pour te dire que je ne répondais pas aux commentaires audio de ta vidéo. J'espère que tu es moins fatiguée, mais je pense aussi que de temps temps se consacrer uniquement à la création, sans commentaire, peut faire du bien et que tu peux prendre plus de plaisir même si le partage est également un plaisir. Je te souhaite de retrouver rapidement la forme.

fyi...yr consistent iteration re intuition has seeped into earlier invitations to trust a process from within...20 yrs ago it was thru intuitive eating ...trusting the body's signals over conventional nutritional gurus...10 yrs ago it was skincare...not every skin responds to the advert du jour no matter how tiktokian the incentive...each 'substrate', each 'canvas' required a pause, a holy instant to discern the true from the teaser...how important you are to these global viewers whose current influencers are often void of deeper knowing...ty...

Yes, all the paint I added in my first layer was wet on wet and I only let the paper dry after I added the salt. ☺️
