@@Jovanna3313 and others : It's great, but please : don't buy one. Pet shop are, in average, horrible place to buy animals, and your money would support a very unethical business. Moreover, rats are social animals, they absolutely NEED to be at least two in order to not suffer badly from loneliness. It is highly recommended to adopt (for free) 2 rats or more. A lot of facebook groups are dedicaced to it, depending of your country ^ ^

Ann Unknown if you plan on getting rats, get two! They need to be in pairs or they may become sick or depressed. These little guys make amazing pets, but only if you do your research!

Also, it's a good idea to make sure there a local vet who is knowledgeable about rats b4 getting them; it sure is a terrible feeling when your poor little ratty gets sick and you have to figure it out on your own.

My mom has a terrible fear of rats and mice (she has a good reason) but I wish she could learn to see them like this! They are such lovable little cuties!

I think this was so wholesome, it cured my cancer.

It's easy to see why these little critters get so spoiled. This rat is ruined for life now, those pettings are just too hard to resist.

I'm thinking of adopting rats, my little soulmate (a hamster) passed away this June and I'm so heartbroken because he was my first and I treated him like my child.. I'm just hoping that my family can accept the rats because they didn't like my hamster too at first (because he look like a rat, he's a Syrian hamster).. miss him so much..
