I'm saying this now and I don't care if I'm wrong because I dislike Aaron Boone, but the Yankees won't win a World Series until Boone is gone. If this team was managed by a Joe Torre, Bruce Bochy or even a Scott Servais or Rocco Baldelli this team would've won at least one title and maybe even multiple if they had a leader who is methodical and not an arrogant excuse maker. Boone lost all credibility as a serious manager when he blamed the roof being open to why Judge didn't hit a home run in game 2 of the 2022 ALCS. The guy was given a team on the verge of winning a title and every year since has seemingly moved the team further away as they continue to vastly underperform expectations. Aaron Boone is like the Mike McDaniel of MLB someone who flukes together an acceptable season only to then get shelled in the postseason/playoffs if they even make it that far. Boone and Steinbrenner are jokes and if George was still around he would've laughed their behinds out of New York 3 seasons ago.
