Difference in broadcast probably. The Yankees broadcast shows a bunch of replays of the Yankees plays, and the Red Sox broadcast doesn’t show a lot of replays of the Red Sox plays 🤷‍♀️

@@jbanksey22 That’s the crazy part about today’s game. With how common the home run is, it’s not uncommon for games to be decided by a single bad pitch. Heck, sometimes the pitch a home run is hit off of isn’t even that bad of a pitch(like the homerun Masataka Yoshida hit off of Clay Holmes’s sinker)

@@bakaraka5880 It was in, it wasn’t middle middle. Also it was his best pitch, so the fact is that even if it was middle middle, most batters would hit a weak grounder most of the time. Holmes has a nearly 70% ground ball rate on his Sinker The vast majority of hits against him on on his slider whenever he hangs it. His Sinker is one of the least hit pitches of any relief pitcher in the league(hit being based on gaining a base, not making contact. A sinker isn’t a swing and miss pitch, it’s a pitch designed to lead to weak grounders)

@jbanksey22 I was more so describing the clubhouse. Once a new player walks in there, they chip away at their energy of the game. It worked for Judge because he was always low key with very little animated emotions. Soto doesn't do his shuffle anymore. Josh Donaldson was always a fighter, but he went soft. Dugo got limited to the number of chains (which I'm fine with) but it sucks the energy out of the players. It's like there's a dispensary of melatonin in that clubhouse and everyone is overdosing on it.

So you also saw that CLAY HOLMES MADE THE DAMN ALL STAR GAME CARDIAC CLAY CLEARLY TRASH CLAY
