Boone needs to stop letting Cole pitch, dude has been atrocious in both of his starts so far. Serious injuries like that need to be rehabbed slowly, let him pitch a few relief appearances in low pressure situations(either winning by 5+ runs or losing by 5+ runs) to regain his confidence, then let him start pitching. He’s been nothing but a detriment so far. Not that that would even matter if the Yankees actually fucking hit well with runners on base. Juan Soto is literally the best player in the MLB at getting on base, but Torres and Verdugo have consistently shit the bed in high pressure situations

totally agree with Cole!! What happened to taking pitchers out when they are obviously struggling and getting roped on batter after batter!!! ... bullpen issues, maybe .. but if that's the case dont start Cole in the first place and bring him in mid game .. continue to rest the others
