Over the course of many months and several datsun videos my passion for them has reignited. My passion began when i was just 19 and my first car was a 280z (hilarious as it may be she was a 77). I'm now 41 and your videos have inspired me to get another datsun in my life and build a mini truck. My only problem now is figuring out if I will go 620,720 or go D21. Ok I lied there is 2 problems I highly doubt I can fit in a standard cab being 6'4" 350lbs so king cab is probably my only option. Thank you for all you do good sir.

Daily driving a '82 720 single cab, at 6ft 265lbs, it's tight but headroom is okay... Would not recommend road trips without frequent breaks to stretch the legs.

@@john74653 still not recommending a standard cab for 6'4"... I know first hand that it's take what you can get but that firewall isn't getting any further away even if my preferred bodyline lacks the extra rear window... Then there's the matter of lb20's, z22/24's being dead end with the coveted ka24de swap being behind the drift tax... Reality is, the 720/hard body line isn't great unless you compromise. Some compromises ask too much.

Hot damn my style of Datsun! You find a 1982 720 that’s complete and I’m all over it. Thanks for another awesome one!

You can look to Mexico. We have a lot of nice trucks here and even some 4 door 720s. The 720 was made until 1993 in Mexico so there are still a lot around.

It's nice to have to have entertainment that keeps your mind off the world problems keep up the good work you are very talented getting cars like that and make it a run God bless

Great video as usual. Your vids always bring me back to my younger days. I used to haul several tons of scrap iron with a Datsun. Yeah it would over heat but it would keep going.

Another great one! Im glad that you don't care to make longer videos. I get to actually enjoy a video for a while before it just ends.

i went to the dollar store , bought a stack of clear plastic cups for a dollar ,duh. wrote on each one the part and put the bolts in.you can then restack them with bolts in them they store nice and are easy to take to the wire wheel

Mexico is easier to get them from, and it is connected by land. We had 4 door versions of this truck.

I have watched almost every one of you guy's channels and you are by far my favorite! I'm a 71 yr old wheelchair bound ex Master Technician, and in over 50 years of wrenching I never saw a hard day's work (: Saving up to buy one of your T shirts!!!!!!

No joke, when I went to look at buying my first 720 at age 15, the guy used it to pull 24ft cabin crusiers around his boat dealership. After that and the abuse I put it through it was still running strong when I sold it at 210000 miles.

Gettin ready for work in the shop all day and this makes it suck a little less thanks for the laughs.

That engine sounded really good after you put it back together. Don’t overwork it and blow it up. Put new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, an oil change, thermostat and new radiator with fresh coolant and it will be a runner for a while

Amazing what a Datsun can do! When I had my 79 620 king cab,I towed a geo metro full of household items on stow dolly,had a canopy with more stuff and a 250 motorcycle, plus me,the wife, and my 7 year old son. From Texas to Washington. Kudos to Datsun!

Hey Puddin, if you're gonna get the flywheel surfaced for ol' blue no.2 ask your machine shop to lighten and balance the flywheel, only if it's in the budget. Doesn't need to be super lightweight/racing style but losing a few extra pounds will help make it more responsive/pull rpm a little quicker without sacrificing driveability.

My wife accompanied me to a scrap yard once. Her observation was that the scrap yard parts car was in better shape than her car.
