The home we see in narcos when he’s poolside with gustavo and others is Hacienda Napoles, which included an air strip and zoo. This mansion is different than that of the show (Finca de Manuela) and it’s located on a peninsula near Guatape. Still a gorgeous structure. I got to see it up close on a boat

As a Colombian myself, I've always heard of so many great things about the country but never got to go the country myself until last May and it was such an amazing experience. I'm so glad he said that Colombia has change and they felt safer than what people warned them. My parents are Colombian and I lived there for almost a year and I always felt safe.

I grew up in Medellín, my dad was a Taxi driver once he had to go to this house to deliver a package. Unfortunately with these people you couldn't say no when they asked something so my dad had to go. He picked me up from school and he drove there with me. I wasn't allowed to leave the taxi offcourse but I saw these house and I remember all the security guys all over the entries and the roof, the house was beautiful tho.

I know who lived there and it's history. Was a stunning home. To bad after it was burnt that even more people came to vandalize it. It's Just a empty shell now. Knock it down.

I snuck in that house too! So crazy. Also swam in that pool (which probably wasnt the safest water) but still one of my favorite memories of Colombia!

Compared to the US and almost all other countries I can think off of the top of my head, Columbia’s past isn’t really “dark”. I mean these modern countries are literally built on genocide, now that’s dark.

Wonderful place

This is so mind blowing to watch. I just discovered y'all's videos today. After seeing this place, it makes you wonder if this beautiful place was maybe the place where Hollywood got the idea for the Drug dealer's mansion in the movie Bad Boys. When you see the things Hollywood puts out, you realize that they are giving us a glimpse of the world, only through rose colored glasses. Even though we go watch the movies, laugh and get excited with our friends, we don't realize the truth behind all of the glitz of Hollywood. It is much more serious than what they portray. This video gives us chills and open our eyes. Thanks for making us aware of the difference. Stay real, guys! Great job!
