Rava Kesari
Rava 1 cup
sugar 1& 1/2 cups
water 4 cups
ghee 1/ 4 to 1/2 cup
cardamon powder, saffron, cashews
Dry roast rava
boil water, cook rava in low flame. once it cook well add sugar, cook few minutes, add saffron, cardamon powder. add ghee, fried cashews.
Pulli Sadam
Rice 1 cup (250 gm )
cook 80 %. cool down.

take out pulp

coriander seeds 2 tsp
thuvar dhal 1/2 tsp
methi 1/2 tsp
pepper 1 tsp
sesame seeds 1 tsp

dry roast and powder.
In gingerly oil fry peanuts, mustrad seeds, dhals, red chilly, hing, turmeric powder, curry leaves. Add tamarind pulp, salt, cook 5 minutes. Add grinded powder, jaggery and cook few minutes. Mix this paste with rice. Adjust salt.
Sambar Rice
Rice 1 cup
thuvar dhal 1/2 cup
small onion, mix vegetables, tomato.
tamarind pulp 2 tbs

Coo dhal with turmeric powder. In oil fry onion, tomato, veg, add sambar podi, tamarind pulp, salt. add dhal, 3 cups water. add rice, cook for 2 whisles.
In ghee fry mustrad seeds,cashews, onion, hing, curry leaves. Add it to rice, add little rasam podi, coriander leaves.
Curd rice
Rice 1/2 cup (100 gm )
cook with 1 cup water, and 1/2 cup milk.
mash, add tempering, salt, milk, curd. mix.
Potato Curry
potato 750 gm
cook for one whistle. peel skin, cut into cubes.
