Canada yes! Actually I love this video so much because although I don’t live in Vancouver, BC, I can get there within 3 hours after some driving, a ferry ride and some more driving. They showcase some great parts of the city and I always find myself thinking about this video whenever I’m over there wandering about! Oh yeah, the music is pretty fantastic too :)

@@BraindeadBreakdown Based on your reaction to "Legacy" you are going to absolutely LOVE "The Wind That Shapes The Land" as it is absolutely EPIC! But.... that said hold off on it a bit longer if you can. There's a lot more great material to go through first..

I am a death metal head but I dabble in power metal cause its glorious, for me Unleash the Archers are the top of the genre, especially this song. Britney's voice is unrivaled, I feel lucky to have heard it.

Its so satisfying how much you are loving unleash the archers. At this point I think you will love all of their stuff. Have you listened to Blind Guardian? They are another power metal band that i really love. Tbh they and unleash the archers might be my favorites. Most people tend to react to the joint performance of Bards Song and Valhalla; it is a great live performance that really showcases the duality of the band. If you wanted to do something else... I would suggest one of the performances or the album version of Time Stands Still (at the iron hill). Its from their nightfall in middle earth album, a concept album based on the silmarillion.

Unleash the Archers is Goat'd right now. Can't wait to see what they do in the future. The Wind that Shapes the Land is needed at some point but i want to suggest Flasewave. Its a Synthwave remix to their song False Walls. I love it. And yet again something completely different from them. Cheers!

Very Devin Townsend-esque song vocally, as Brittney has says it was partially inspired by the "Devi choir" and a happy accident where she recorded different racks and forgot to mute some of them. I believe they are walking around Vancouver in the video, as that's where they all live now. For you, I highly recommend going through Apex and Abyss as albums, but if you want to jump around: Apex (this is probably THE most Iron Maiden-esque song they have, if you ask me, and depicts when the Immortal goes back to sleep in his mountain, his Apex, his everything, as it's always been the only time he's ever known peace) False Walls (this has a great main riff, and is a different sort of song, but it's so groovy. It depicts the Immortal going after the Matriarch's second oldest son I believe, who is a cult leader) Earth and Ashes (a rare song with Andy King doing a vocal segment, and he did a great job IMO. The intro riff reminds me a lot of Mastodon's Emerald City. This depicts the Immortal going after the Matriarch's third son, who is the only good one of the bunch, and they develop a friendship of sorts but the Immortal has to do what his curse compels him to do) Abyss (COVID video, depicting the Immortal waking on a ship in space about 50 years after Apex) Through Stars (cheesy power ballad, based on your reaction to this, you'll love it) Return to Me (AKA listen here you little shit, finger burner of a song that depicts the Matriarch's fury at discovering her unknown grandson has usurped the Immortal from her control) Faster Than Light (blistering song, video is based on Stephen King's The Long Walk, and it depicts the Immortal and the Grandson fleeing from the Matriarch) The Wind That Shapes the Land (THE best song they have ever written, for my money. This is the peoples' song, as we always made them play it on Twitch, so they made it part of the setlist on tour for us. It depicts the climactic battle between the Immortal and the Matriarch) Carry the Flame (the Abyss song with Andy King vocals, and I won't spoil what it depicts)
