Braindead Breakdown

Braindead Breakdown

I am just a guy who like playing guitar and listening to music.

Oh yeah, i'm bri'ish.

I am currently going on a Modern Metal Journey by reacting to music I haven't heard.

There will be additional content coming in the future such as editorials and opinion pieces.

Thanks for looking 🤘

Ooh❤ Anette. This song is so beautiful and airy. Thanks to reaction. you are absolutely right that there is absolutely no point in comparing different singers with each other. They all have their own place in the history of Nightwish and each one has given a lot to the band. a lot of good music would be missing from the world without them.

Didn't you notice where Pau's mike is?? The right mike located by her lips does wonders.

Yes, I did notice. But you and many other people didn't understand what I was talking about in reference to the lack of variation in sound. I should have done a better job explaining what I meant. I was referring to the fact she is able to keep her voice in check whilst moving that much, if anything having the mic attached to your face would make it worse but she is able to control her voice incredibly well.

Glad to hear you liked it. A lot of people don't like this one but I'm a big fan of how it manages to be both chill and chaotic at the same time. It really fits the guy who can control time but still wants to go with the flow.

Dam... I been sleeping on this band. This one right here made me a fan. Love that spiritbox like atmosphere and creepy background sounds and thick chunky low tune. Definitely djenty guitar tones here. It really helps her vocals stand out. And you know that's the reason Mike from Spiritbox went down to F# tuning cause it goes well with high female vocals and leaves them frequency room.

axl is one of my favorite fictional characters, just a normal guy who suddenly got thrown in to the future because hes existence got mixed up with the birth of a god… yet he never stops being the silly guy he is. his fit also goes hard in strive

I look forward to seeing you eventually react to Ramlethal Valentines theme, 'Necessary Discrepancy' Its a prog-rock-ishtype song which the composer has said is probably his favourite theme and the one he feels represents Strive the best, so much so that the title for the full OST Discs also have Necessary Discrepancy in the title.

Axl, named after a certain singer, is a time traveler from the 1990's. Considering Guilty Gear takes place some 200 years in the future (with Y2K being the moment where the setting really diverges), it's really funny to see this goofy dork in his flannels.

You'll get no gripes from me, it's def my favorite UTA rn. Take into account, my favorite band is Only growl (Be'lakor), so idk, I think that really says something about this song.💚🤘

I'm glad you like this one! I sadly see this one get a lotta hate (I think folks are just thrown off by it not being as hard rock as the usual themes??) The theme also fits the character pretty well- the main gimmick of Axl is basically that he's actually a regular British guy from "our" world who was transplanted into Guilty Gear More specifically, while GG taked place around the 2180s, Axl was a guy from 1998, when the world still used to be like ours, before the magical fighting game apocalypse One day he randomly slipped through time and ended up nearly 200 years in the future, and since then has had to come to terms with the new weird reality he finds himself in, as well as accept his new existence as a living temporal paradox

I will say that this song is an accquirrd taste. The more I listen to it the more I appreciate it. It's rare to like it the first time because of how insane the lyrics are and the more chill groove its got going on.

I find it amusing that I enjoy the vocals on the other tracks fine, except maybe some odd phrasing with some of the lyrics and such (probably due to English not being their first language)… Even then it can sometimes be fun… But then on this song, where I find the vocal lines kinda boring, although reasonably serviceable, you start to enjoy them lol. I don’t know… This one’s still perfectly decent and that dual guitar run was sweet, but I guess I just find this song bland compared to the others in general… But then I’m probably fairly weird lol… I think it’s the only song particularly like this on the soundtrack though, so in a weird way there’s still variety to it in terms of the whole selection of songs… Not really a big deal, but yeah… I found it interesting ^_^;; Not that I’m overly surprised as it’s a reasonable difference of opinion, I think… But in terms of coincidence, you know?

As you usually do, you get very entertaining and interesting reactions, that's great and we thank you for it. I think DPA, with "KMF", have risen to the highest level, where the greatest are, but they have arrived with their sword drawn and the knife between their teeth, very willing to take it by storm and take no prisoners… The new masters of rock: The Warning!! Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️ .

Their Young Selves are dressed as they were dressed in 2015 during the Ellen De Generes show. You may see references to rock band and their old instruments and lots of references to the horror and fantasy film Poltergeist the shining... The song talks about all the people and things that are tempted to keep them away from their dream (on the carpet at the beginning it is a dream that is written)
