I’m a runner too and you can never be too safe especially as a solo female runner! Always go with your gut! Stay safe out there!

İ don't feel safe to, i run some times for cardio, some times running away when street dogs are hunting me. But the result is i run. 😝

THE HANGOVERS. It’s not your age. I experience the same thing but I figured it out. I go weeks eating clean, drinking kombuchas, taking pre and probiotics. Creating this healthy gut and sleep cycle. Then boom . Stay up all night (cause it’s never day drinking lol) pour ethanol into my gut. Destroying everything. Your stomach like what the hell and your body is confused on what to do because it’s been running on this great routine for so long.

This is true for me if I have a day when I have too many treats or fast food, I’m not used to the grease or the extra sugar all at once. I just have to be careful or I’ll feel like crap.

ugh this is making me feel so much better! im running a half the same day as the NYC marathon. Even though the training is so much less than the full, I still feel shockingly tired this week, and just so so nervous that I have lost all my ability like you said. It's not my first half but it's my first time actually listening to a schedule and following taper, and it's crazy how much of a mental battle it is!
Never ignore your intuition 👏

I have a nut allergy and by fluke I realized I am great with almonds. I've heard its because peanuts go from the ground so we may be ok with tree nuts. Just a thought as you were discussing your snackies! Anyway, I hope you SMASHED your marathon!

Good luck. I’m training for the London marathon, and I’ve been trying to find a training plan that suits my ability and my time goal of four hours, I tried looking on the strong girls society page, but me and tech isn’t great, any suggestions as to how I find a plan to suit me? Love your channel. I wish us women could feel safe while running.

I know everyone's different and I'm not here to steer anyone away from sober life but for some reason I just stopped getting hungover when I switched from drinking beer to cider. Even hard seltzer could still give me a hangover but cider and mead just never make me ill for some reason. Liquor is still a no-go for me nowadays tho I'm done with that life.

Interested in what Whoop can tell me what my Garmin doesn’t?? I have the 265 Forerunner. I get all my sleep, rem, deep, awake, score etc. training readiness, training status, HRV, pulse oxygen, stress.. Why would I need a Whoop??
