I chose the 124 over the 125. I felt the 124 would be more stable having only 4 sections. I just love it. Lightweight, stable, easy to carry. Great value. Great quality.

Really well produced review! I like that you go indepth (hehe) with things like the water test, I havent seen a lot of other people do that, and the force-meter.

You mentioned the push button ability to change the screw but it seems to me the main advantage to that would be, if you can get extra screws, you could easily switch heads without tools, could you not?

I just need legs. This or the am254? Or something else?

At 8:21 you state the the tripod can’t go flat due to the center column, but the column is removable, as you showed earlier in the vid, allowing it to go flat…

ST-125 hits the sweet spot better: amazingly short for stashing into a backpack, still surprisingly rigid with an extra leg segment. These buck the trend of tripod legs folding up and over the head which severely limit fluid video head options.

I strongly suspect the 5 segment leg wouldn’t fair nearly as well in my bend/twist tests. Maybe we’ll see one day ;)

@@WesPerry The nature of my comment was also to critique the "Sirui sent me this for free" problem of sponsored reviews (FYI, anything provided for free results in a sponsored review, besides additional cash payment). As I noted, the 5-segment version is rigid and I did compare with the ST-124, without relying on the manufacturer's single sample as you did.

Great product that can help those who realize that there is no measurable curvature, can go to lakes and oceans and do the test themselves from very close to the water level. Either the circumfrence is not 24,901miles, or, as Neil DeGrass Tyson says " that stuff is Flaaaaat"... Now that there are millions awakened, I can see many wanting such a tripod.

Really, just sail off your imaginary edge bro.

you're right, an edge is imaginary, and what the Flat Earth Society and media promote, which is NOTHING of reality. The reality is that we see way too far, period. So either earth is about 1000 times larger(which would be an interesting issue, or that water does actually remain 100% level, and still, and that it needs containment . Pretty simple.@@focuspulling

Dude, it 2023, and you think there is an edge? WOW. You need a Eric Dubey video, or a Flat Earth Dave video, as they would do a better job than a comment section. But, Im baffled of how uninformed you are. Look into it as a fun fiction, leave it how you see fit.@@focuspulling
