Great review Se! This is so light! And definitely had a bunch of father of bride move away from their designated speaking spot. One time I had to gimbal the speech because they were constantly walking lol

The one in this video is Nanuk 940. It doesn’t have wheels tho FYI.

Why for mirror less cameras? Is it any good for Canon 5D and telephoto?

good gawd. I'm still trying to figure out which one i will get. ST-125 or the AM-254. nice review. I like the compactness of the AM. but like the waterproof of the ST-125. I'm a little guy, i need less weight/size as much as possible. I do like the waterproof (which is why our tripods are giving out). love the min height of the centerless column. aiiieee. decisions, decisions.

Any chance you can show the 125 and 124 side by side? Does the 124 fit in a carry on like the 125 does? Do you have a peak design to compare it to?

Hi Evan, I wish I had both with me when I filmed this. My friend who I film weddings with me does. The 124 is 2.5 inches longer when folded. When we travel with the hard case, it does squeeze in tightly. I prefer the 125 since I can take it in and out of the carry-on without rubbing hard on the padding (125 does rub and it’s a tight fit) The 125 is 3 inches shorter than the 124 when extended all the way which I rarely take advantage of so I chose the 125. As for Peak Design, sure it’s super compact but it’s just too flimsy when you use the last set of the legs so fully extended height needs to be looked at with a grain of salt. Hope that helps a little.

@@SePark thanks, super helpful. i have an oben tripod that has really thin segments in the last part of the legs, which basically makes that segment unusable... is that how the peak design is? i shoot a lot of kiteboarding content on beaches and in the water, so im interested in that too

@@erbartlett that’s exactly how I would describe Peak Design. When we were using it for the wedding, I never fully extended the last leg since it was just too unstable with our larger 135mm lens.

We use both. Nice to have one that's little taller. They both fit in our travel hard case so it works out well.

I respect your skills, which are far superior to mine. But let's be honest - you need more saturation. I get the obsession with silky smooth and subtle gradients and all, I like some milk in my coffee as well, but this greyed out look gives me flashbacks to when people of youtube started using log. Pls man, give me the juice!
