Review of the Sirui W 2204 Tripod
I have thought long and hard about doing this review. The reason is that I like the tripod but there are some problem that I can live with buyers may not. I have owned this tripod for over one year and I am mostly happy with it. It is a very stable and strong tripod that has meets my needs as a wildlife photographer.
There are some problems with this tripod, and I do cover them in this video. If you are going to buy this tripod you will be able to use but you can not us it like it is decided to be used.

I purchased this tripod at the recommendation of my Camera Dealer [Samys] and I LOVE IT!!! I had to laugh when you mentioned the one draw back - that center column is irksome. But for the abuse that I've been submitting this equipment through (water, snow, sand, et.al.) - well worth it imho.

Nice review of the Sirui tripod. Will this tripod be able to support the weight of the Canon EF 6000mm f4 II ? Can I walk around with the lens attached to the tripod?

Kit comes with extra hook for use with the short centre column.

That is very true, but if you are not using both part of the center column you can not use the either hook

It has been about 2 years since I did this video. I am still using this same tripod and I am very happy with it. I just look it up and from the B&H web page it is about 450 US. the head is about 100 US. It is better to save and buy a better tripod they to buy a cheaper one and not be happy with it.. thanks for watching's. Sean.
Can't you tighten the legs by using the Allen Key Sirui provide?
