I love A-Train's character on the Boys, and I'm glad you're appreciating the actor by name. A lot of the actors on that show are over shadowed by Anthony Starr but I truly believe it's an All Star cast, and Jessie T Usher is no exception. I love A-Train and I truly hope to see him redeem himself further

The reason Flash can move others is because the Speedforce gives Flash a protective field

Hopefully his redemption arc continues, maybe he’ll even help the boys now that he has his powers back, he’s easily one of my favorite characters on the show

that was the point of the comics, the creators absolutely hate superheroes that's why they made the comics lol you're supposed to hate them too the TV show just made some of them likeable so you can relate and side with some of them and also make them more defined characters as well :)

The way the show treats A-Train and Black Noir is very much based on how people have reacted to the idea of black superheroes in real life. There’s a reason why Luke Cage was a big deal when he debuted in the comics, and why people reacted the way they did to Miles Morales. Is every show that reflects aspects of real life all of a sudden political? Or do you think every show that depicts aspects of racism is political? I think the fact that A-Train is a massive piece of shit who has finally seen some level of comeuppance in a system that basically views him as fodder and enables his worst character traits makes for a pretty good story. In the comics, pretty much everyone was white. I think scenes like the Supersonic taco bowl scene and the A-Train B story actually make the show a lot better. If anything, The Boys has strayed closer to South Park in terms of “politics” since they call out everyone. Or are you conveniently ignoring stuff like the Imagine cover? Or the fact that until he was hurting for more starpower and his actual brother got paralyzed, A-Train didn’treally give a single fuck about Gunpowder or the political stuff. It was all a publicity stunt for him until it got real. Him killing Gunpowder wasn’t justice or him fighting for the black community, it was simply petty revenge.

I don't think any of what he did is exactly a redemption. He only did it for his own goals. true, the effect might have been 'good', like when he helped Hughie and Starlight with Stormfront's nazi info, but that's still just because he wants her out. even at season 3, we see him get overly egoistic about his A-train brand, like advertising his "black history" with his suit, wanting a game and some advertisement of his black history. again, just for him. and then we even see him berate Homelander, ever so quietly. even with him "making it up" for his brother was still about him bringing his brother to his training. He's only sorry that it happeened to him.
