@@Helios-102 Soldier Boy was weakened after his uncontrolled blast. When they met again, Soldier Boy was able to grab Homelander by his face with one hand and hold him there. Physically, Soldier Boy was about equal in strength and durability to Homelander, possibly stronger and more durable considering how SB was able to hold him with one hand and after their first brawl SB had no bruises unlike HL.

09:33 One thing that wasn't mentioned here is even if he did have his full strength while in flight would, trying to lift a 200ton plane would likely cause him to just puncture through. It would be like trying to lift a bus using a single scaffold tube. The tube will just puncture through the bus rather than lift it. Superman has stopped a plane from crashing, but the explanation for him managing to do that was that Superman creates an invisible field around what he touches.

Further proof the comics weren't it.

Taking out air defenses doesn't mean he is vulnerable to them, it just means that he is going to systematically take away their ability to fight back. Against the guy that flies around at mach speed and has powers which let him level buildings from the air air defense weaponry are kinda going to be the first thing you go to. Homelander was just letting Starlight know just how bad it could be if he REALLY felt like he had nothing left to lose, not hinting at a weakness. Both Soldier boy and Homelander are confirmed to be nuke proof in the tv series so I don't think M2 Browning or a Stinger missile scare him.

@Death by Design Graphics It's called inference: 1) In season 1, Stillwell said all of humanity's weapons failed to harm Homelander (that would logically include nukes). 2) In season 3, we learn Homelander is Soldier Boy's son and inherited the latter's physical traits (it was also believed that harming Soldier Boy was physically impossible during his era as the Russian experimentation vids later showed). 3) Soldier Boy can explode to an extent that it leaves several city blocks cratered and a mushroom cloud (like a nuke). 4) Queen May survived a point-blank blast from Soldier Boy exploding. 5) Homelander showed he could physically hurt both Soldier Boy and Queen Maeve. 6) Ergo, Homelander is nuke proof or at least nuke resistant.

the reason homelander couldn’t save the plane was not because he wasn’t strong enough while flying, rather it was because the strength would have been too focused on one spot of the plane because at the end of the day he is still much smaller than a passenger airplane so he would just fly straight through the plane or bend it in half because the front and back of the plane would still be weighing down (assuming that he picked it up from the center)

He probably could have minimized damage by trying to steer it towards a river/road. But yeah, without psychic powers/invisible forcefields/magnetics, the plane is falling apart if he tries to stop/catch it.

Unlike The Walking Dead, I didn't know the show was based on a comic until 3 or 4 episodes in. The Boys is definitely one of my favorite shows on at the moment. It's hilarious and Homelander is without a doubt my favorite character because Starr plays him so well that whenever he's on screen you have no idea what is going to happen. I wonder that if he's never needed to build up his physique due to his powers, what would happen if were able to do so.

Actually Superman can fly and even levitate freely without much friction , because he can control the gravity , his physical mass to near infinity to travel lightspeed. *He is literally a walking contradiction in comics*

With the plane it's because the boys universe is a little more realistic and you cannot lift a flying object with super strength without tearing it apart because of the large amount pressure with a small surface area

@@JBD915 no the point is a plane can’t rest on the surface area of a human , he’d destroy its flight path before going straight through it, the controls were destroyed it would be like trying to catch a cake that’s in motion on the edge of a blade .. except the cake is full of people and any injuries destroy your reputation also your a sociopath.

He seriously could've tied as many seatbelts together, released the landing ger and used the belt rope on the wings to angle the plane for landing or at least slowing it down.

I mean, couldn't she steer the rudder? Either way it looks like he failed, with a history of planes being found cut in half. That looks much worse 🤷

Well, if you actually read the comic book, there is a breast milk fixation, but it isn’t as funny as they make. It seem in the TV show, and the breastmilk fixation is actually tied to MM not home lander essentially it’s where the name mother’s milk comes from in the comic book. MM is also a supe, born with a congenital disorder where he has to keep on drinking his mothers breastmilk even as an adult or else he’ll get sick and die but as long as he’s drinking his mothers breastmilk, he maintains his strength as a supe It’s pretty messed up actually and it’s way more disturbing to see it illustrated makes The Boys a hell of a read

Um… Homelander wasn’t born naturally or had any real parents in the Amazon show. He was test tube baby grown from Soldier Boy’s DNA and raised from conception in labs by Vaught.

Not sure if this meant to be a joke or if this channel really isnt aware of the real significance of these topics. His "obsession" with breast milk has more to do with the energy and extraordinary nutritional and emotional value. He may very well have some mommy issues but clearly arent as defining or in prevelant as this video makes them out to be. Considering milk has water in it and we have learned about water memory, it wouldnt be much of a stretch to say that Madeline produced said milk with care and love infused which provides babies with the nutritional and emotional nourishment needed. Homelander knows this and takes full advantage in situations such as a nearby cow or a conveniently stored bottle of breast milk. Considering its illegal to even sell milk in the US which hasnt been processed I would say that its a theory that would like to stay suppressed. Curious as to why a channel such as this would only touch on the psychological aspect of superheroes thus leaving out, by omission, the other more important and obvious topics. Perhaps indulging the audience with cues as to why Homelander wears the eagles heads on his shoulders. If any of you followed "Shape Power" by Dan Davidson you would know that energy (vibrational/etheric) enters into the sharp points (the beak) and dissipates into the rest of the head finally into the energy cell found in the shoulder. Same for the gold stars found around his neck, the eagle on his belt, the vibrational frequencies rang in his flag cape, his boot adornments and his gloves to name a few.

About the plane, there was more soups there than just Homelander and I know not all of them could fly, but if all the ones that could fly held onto the plane, I’m sure that he could have lifted it up. In the comics he flies a family in their car up in the air and drops them with ease him and a couple of the other soups that can fly, and even the ones that couldn’t if they were just holding onto his back instead of being held on by his arm and they were lifting up to, and they slowly hovered down they should’ve been able to land it safely

c. 10:00 No wait, I think everyone forgets one crucial detail : It's very possible that he *wanted* the plane to crash; Think about it : The deaths would've been more emotionally endearing to the public, si that he could string & manipulate them better into his & Stilwell's shared agenda of militarizing the Supes; sure, it could've shown weakness, worst case scenario, but from everyone else's perspective, it was still very plausible that they "just weren't able to in time because of those damn guv'mint regulations !" Remember, he had NO reason to kill that terrorist, even after he killed that pilot; and he _would've_ known that there were no-one else to protect in that cockpit than the pilot held hostage, so he _could've_ just rushed to him, if he really felt panicked, after the terrorist shot him in the head; hell, he probably could've blitzed to him before he even reacted ! He was, like, 1.5 meters away from him ! And was probably distracted by all the sounds & knowing that he was in a hostage situation with 2 reputably ruthless Supes ! Remember the last episode of the _"Diabolical"_ animated spin-off series, when he disarmed all the hostage-holding terrorists in the chemical plant room, from slightly further away, & even though there were more them ? Speaking of which, that just goes to show that he must've TONS of experience with those situations ! The guy has no excuses !!!! He had *one whole second* of reaction time, and is a Supe himself, so he has nothing to fear for his own safety; and plus, he's a psychopath, so he's CLEARLY not afraid or stressed in this situation ! And additionally, it wouldn't have been much more morally excusable if if was just that he lazered him out of the habit of using that method of killing? or smth like that, 'cuz that just makes him, again, an uncaring motherfucking psychopath on the loose

I suspect Homelander really would have been fast enough to rescue each person in the plane, maybe 2 at a time, before it crashed. He flies insanely fast. I think he just didn't want to bother doing that. And I feel like that part of the point.

9:44 why doesn't homelander just fly out and up while holding onto the plane? he doesn't need the ground to push against if he can carry other people much like a purse. Unless you're saying he loses his super strength when flying and can only carry 1 or 2 people like a regular human when flying. otherwise he could just grab some rigid steel structure and hold onto it while flying. so your theory doesnt make any sense. NOW i don't know what would be strong enough to hold the plane together :D i don't think the door frame would work, he'd probably just rip the plane in two at that spot or even grab the landing gears flip the plane upside down and from the weight of the plane the landing gears might rip out. BUT if other people could hold onto him like a chain of people wrapped around him he may of been able to save more then he could carry but again he didn't want any witnesses so saving others wasn't the point.

Let me tell you how homelander could've saved the plane had he gone to his physics class. There are points on a plane that are structurally reinforced - for example the landing gear. He could've easily used fraction of his powers to reduce the speed and bring down the plane safely. Given his special vision he could've identified multiple such locations all over the plane. And the plane would just get destroyed... There will be tiny damages first when he can change his location and apply more force to put it to gentle stop. Alternatively, he could've simply taken people one by one to safety.

Homelander and the plane? What would he grab onto to slow a plane? Superman controls inertia, HL is just physical strong. He probably couldn’t even keep a bus intact while lifting it; it would bend under its own weight.

everyone talks about superman's weakness being kryptonite, if your really a superman fan you would know he can surpass the affects of it through sheer will and he even develops a complete immunity to it in a few comics. even in superman vs batman he showed his ability to develop an immunity to it. the only thing homelander has that supe doesn't is a lack of a moral compass.

Oh boy so much misinformation. Show Black Noir is a black man and was shown as such in a episode this last season so he can't be a clone of Homelander. Plus Homelander killed him by ripping his heart out so he's dead dead. Homelander has 2 kids (one that's he's and Madeline's and Ryan his and Butchers wife Becky's child) so he can't be sterile? Also the show has said Homelander is the son of Solider Boy so the injected as an embryo story is bogus because they're established that the affects of Compound V pass from parent to child even in the comics (see Mother's Milk story).
