A bit of a correction as a Tanzanian there isn't a Swahili tribe per say, Swahili is basically a creole language made up of several Bantu languages spoken by Natives of the East African coast and Arabic, developed in the process of trade between the two cultures which then evolved to a language of its own with no tribal or ethnic ties whatsoever. The term Waswahili or Swahili people is simply a blanket term used to identify all different Bantu tribes along the coast and even casually to identify any Tanzanian.

@Mr History as a Tanzania Bantu that’s just wrong Swahili and other Bantu groups in Africa came from Tanzania and spread out to south and central Africa. The Bantu migration theory has already been disproved. Most west Africans have nothing to do with Bantus.

Actually that's not completely true, Many sub-saharen Africans migrated from West Africa (Bantu people) as well as North Africa centuries ago before the Persians arrived 400 years ago. When the Persians arrived that's when the mix occurred. Which is why Tanzania has over 100 different ethnic groups because prior to colonisation Africans were nomadic people. I for one is a mixture of mainly Bantu, niolotic (Massai), Persians and and little German. Purely due to our history.

@@NaeNae23yeah no as a Tanzania Bantu the west Africa Bantu migration theory has been disproved just like all theories new evidence shows up and they get update and erased. There would’ve been archeological evidence of Bantu migration across central Africa but there isn’t central Africa was mostly inhabited by Pygmy people. But there is however linguistic evidence showing a Bantu migration going from east Africa down into south and central Africa . I love my west African brothers but our language and culture have nothing to do with each other. In fact west Africans have more similarities with Nilotic people than they do with Bantu.
