A Rockhounding Adventure • Fossicking Further P2 • Chalcedony & Agates
Part 2 of one of our biggest adventures rockhounding agates and chalcedony in a favourite creek. We go past where we’ve ever been before to see the treasures that the creek offers as we head for the hills. Big rocks and big snakes with waterfalls and caves, this creek has so much more to offer than the gemstones we find. Come along to see where the journey takes us. From thunder eggs to blue chalcedony, we had a day of rockhounding to remember.
Please check out #Thefinders for other good people finding great treasures.

So it’s been longer than I’d hoped between part one and part two, but I’ve made this one a bit of a longer video to try and make up for the absence. Thank you to everyone for the love and support. I’ll be out hounding with these boys tomorrow so may take a while to get to reply to any comments, but I read Em all, and will reply as soon as possible. Have an amazing weekend and week ahead my friends. We’ll see the cuts in two weeks. Until then, happiest of hounding!!!!!! And give some love to your dogs if you have em. Thank you and big love from down here. 👊✨🐺

Awesome thumbnail choice!!! I love your teams enthusiasm, its wonderful to watch. Thank you for showing us the beautiful land down under. Your absolutely right its like being a kid again wandering around in nature, bring out the "Indiana Jones" in all of us. I'm amazed at your knowledge of snake varieties. I'm currently in Az until the spring and when I'm out prospecting the rattlesnakes are the only thing I fear. Jeff Williams has an interesting solution for snake bites, ill have to investigate further.Congrats on all the beautiful finds and I look forward to seeing them cut.

one of the best trip I've ever seen, what more could you want, and common opal down there, you could be really close to a precious strike ! I dream of digging opals down under, and the agates and blue hue of the chalcedony !!! winter here isn't adding up to enough flow to stir the beds fresh, so I'm back to prospecting, good to see this one, and hope you are getting out and about in real time, it took me a long time before I quit expecting to see my drover pop out of the bushes onto the trail ahead , I still see his face saying come on boss! and the smiles when you get back even if you didn't take them along.a howl out to the moon my friend ; ) Rock on !

highenergyog what!? Man that makes me so upset that someone attacked you dude! So so upset for you Lloyd, that just not fair dude. Far out. This world has some good people in it, but it’s assholes that hurt those good people that harden our hearts sometimes. Bloody hell dude. I’m so sorry to hear that.
Thank you for the fantastic video, a real treat for every stone collector🤩great finds🤩absolutely breathtaking. A perfect rockhounding adventure day in beautiful surroundings and nature😍

Thirst Fast Oh man, ❤️ Quinton 🐺❤️ I had to put that in there for my little man. Dude crackin em out of host rock is sooooooo much fun! It’s was already fractured so I felt okay attempting it, but still was worried I’d done the wrong thing. I’m rockhounding tomorrow but emailing you the day after. Promise ya brother. Just waiting for a good time to sit with a coffee and say g’day. 👊

Oh man! I listened to it but ran out of time to reply, I loved it bro! So good to hear your voice and chat like there were no such thing as distance. 👊
Beautiful
That's It! I'm Done! I just don't know how much more of this my nose and keyboard can take! Why do you hate my nose and keyboard? What did they ever do to you except show you a little love? @2:58 this is the Second time that you've caused me to give my keyboard a "Nasal Caffeine Baptism", yeah, you know what you said. Well, from now on I'm not touchin' my coffee until after your videos are over. That said... Welcome back, to you and the guys, from the other(frozen) side of this Big Blue Marble! 🎆🎆 Love the lush green bush, I remember green, it visits us here from May to September. 🤣 To be able to get out with your friends and share an experience like this builds memories that last a Lifetime. All of you had some outstanding finds, but that brick that Benny found @9:07 takes the day! Wow! Many more like that and you'll need to reinforce your back-packs. The blue Chalcedony at the end was beautiful and well worth the work. Can hardly wait to see these when you get them cleaned. Just curious, will there be another hunt on that creek starting from where you left off this time? Looking at the progression of your finds, you seem to be getting into the better bigger stuff. You may even find where that opal is coming from. Holy crap, wouldn't That be a day to remember! Again, Thank You for Sharing. As Always... Good Luck, Have Fun and Keep on Houndin' 💖 Quinton 🐶💖 Steve...

A. Bearsfan4lyf Oh mate what a comment! Made me laugh and gave me warm fuzzy s seeing love for my little man at the end. Really man means so much. Thank you. But Hahahaha! Nasal Caffeine Baptism! 😂🤣😂🤣 oh gosh I totally pictured it! Hahaha! Yeah maybe pause it when you take a sip 🤣 So I think that’s what we might do soon hey. Either keep heading further up that creek, or explore one of the many tributaries the feed this creek. The hills seem to be where it’s coming from. Thank you again for a truely rad comment and for the laugh. Laughs never go astray 😉👍 Have a brilliant week ahead and I’ll see you next video A!

The scenery up there is amazing . First time I had been up there having a look a nice size black snake swam across the creek in front of me. Been a few years since I have been up that way.
