A Risky Camera Movement Technique! | ICM Photography
Don't drop your camera!
This risky way of capturing ICM photos is NOT recommended without a wrist strap! Don't blame me if you try this without one and wreck your camera!!!
I venture out with David Burn to Harbottle Castle after a 6 week break from photography.

Thanks Anne-Marie. Good to see you commenting. Hope things are going ok
Stepping up the B-roll...great job. To do it from a portrait position might be easier if you have a battery grip on with the function buttons so you have all of the controls and the same normal hand/wrist setup. I have a battery pack for my DSLR have have not tried it, been using my mirrorless since lighter and less tiring on the forearm.

Thanks Robert. I learnt a chunk about b-roll shooting from Tom - just need to implement it more. Using the camera on the tripod more helps!
Cracking end results there.

@@andrewsgray Thank you so much, it suits your images to teee. I found your work through Thomas Heaton and I absolutely love it.
If you went lower to the ground would the tree be hidden behind the slope? Maybe give more impact to the tower too. I prefer your yellow days over the red ones 🤓

@@andrewsgray I think you're bullied into that path mate 😂😂😂
Haha not a technique for crowded areas either, although more people to try and catch it. Good to see you out in the field again Andy. Very moving & interesting images. Did you get any sales from the exhibition? Till next time.

Thanks Jeff. Was good to get out again, though not had much chance to shoot vlogs since 😟 Had a couple of sales, which barely covered the materials... 😜 Such is life!
You need a rotary mount for your camera ? DIY solution 🤔

That sounds very precise. I like random - Just need a wrist strap for safety though 😉
