Great video bud 👍
Cheers mate! Thanks for getting me out! 😂
I was doing the very same thing at the beach 2 nights ago. I was looking for some abstracts. Not as nice light as you are having in this video.
I never leave the house without optimal light 😉😂😂
That sand pattern at 13:01 is captivating. 13:41 is great too - colours work so well.
Thanks Andrew! Yeah that first one is certainly a favourite. Even made it available as a print 😂😂
Gorgeous!
Thanks Peter
bl**dy brilliant!
Gosh, Andy, that second image is really cool. Love to see the editing BTS on that one!
Without me watching the video, I'm guessing it was a red one?.. 😉
Thank you for the video!
No worries!
Excellent!
Glad you liked it!
All good tips
Glad you think so!
Gorgeous images bud. The red toned ones especially 😀👍🏻
Cheers mate! Bit of a struggle as I feel so out of practice - not enough camera time!
I love the sun "swoosh" one! Great quality video out of the new camera
Yea it's great! Dead easy to use and the advantage of the mic too! So pleased with it 😁
Enjoyed it , hopefully it brings some more subscribers your way!
Usually lose a few each video we post 😂
Nice mate, superb quality on the little osmo 👍
It really is! This is just 1080, didn't see the point of 4k at this stage - so there's more quality possible!
Welcome back. I'm going save this for later😊
Please do! Hope you find it useful
Well done n welcome back!
Thanks Sergio!
Well earned! Hope for a great showing
Thanks! Sold a print the other day, which is nice!
Hello Andy. I've really missed vlogs from you, and look forward to that part of ICM photography getting going again 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😍
Yes I've missed making them, theres been a few I've just never published as they were so bad but hopefully more soon - plus a bigger tuition project to film for!
More Andy! Yes! Love to see what you think of the Pocket 3.
Will take some getting used to, but the picture quality is great so far!!
Congrats on 10k!
Thank you so much 😀
Love the zoomies at the end!
First thing I filmed with the Osmo (which is why it was out of frame - no idea how to control it LOL)
It's pretty random. I used it on a photo of a duckling sitting on grass, and got it to remove an out-of--focus duck that was behind it. It did a really good job, then I tried it on a very similar photo with a near identical issue, and it completely f**ked it up. Like in your example, it just mangled the object that was to be removed.
It seems to be poor right now. And thats before we want to add anything. Those results are even worse!!
@@andrewsgrayIt's really annoying, because it seems to be randomly good, then terribly bad, for no apparent reason.
Fantastic 🎉
Thank youuu! 🙏
Whoa! So wonderful! (But don’t think we didn’t see that tripod). 😉
Their idea to use that clip, I sent them video of me wiggling the camera... 🤷♂️
@@andrewsgray Sure you did...
สวยจัง
Congrats!
Thank youuu! 🙏
Congrats! ❤
Thank Claire!
i get the same thing too... is there a fix?
trial and error I think. Worked fine on a another shot of the same scene 🤷♂️
@@andrewsgray thanks
I don’t believe Kenneth is real . Looks AI to me…
😂
You need to uncheck secound option
Fantastic video, time to head down to the coast I think.
What about if you change to Smart Object in photoshop before opening into one of the Nik plugins? I was told by someone this is the way to export with layer. I don't have PS cloud or new Nik collection yet, so can't try it myself. ps - I changed my moniker from angelspice
Compared to me, you are a linguistical flaneur - in the spirit and tradition of the poet maudit.
😂 Oh I get sooo tongue tied
I upgraded
I hope you get good use from the updates!
Starts at 01:45
Who's ready for a holiday?!. Lol. I've just booked a week in Northumberland for May!..
Fantastic!!
Good morning Andy
Thank you for this video. The ND is necessary during the day. Many times I’ve lowered the ISO and aperture and I blow out the highlights without the ND filter. Chimping is critical for me. I can’t previsualize accurately so I’m getting feedback and adjusting my movement or shutter speed. Great advise to shoot a lot. We all have large SD cards. I only get about 2-5% of my images that I like. I have learned many ways not to do ICM. In the end the difference between a professional and amateur photographer is the professional photographer only shares their good images. Mask On Nurse Marty(Ret)
Piękne. Dziękuje.
Hi just a quick tip with Nikon if you go past Bulb to Time you don't need to hold the shutter button down I.e. press shutter button in Time to start the exposure then press once more to stop exposure.
It was a very cheap and nasty (and malfunctioning) trigger release - thankfully now long gone! lol
I am always in the sand with a 600mm lens for the waves and the shorebirds. I have a beanbag to set the camera on as a super low angle with Live View shooting. Often I find a low rock to keep the camera slightly above incoming waves. Don't forget your boots! Our Southern Oregon beaches have lots of creeks dumping freshwater into the ocean. Take the time to look up the tide tables, surf forecasts that the surfers use . . .
Oh for sure. Safety has to always be paramount!
Very interesting Andy Cheers have a great day
