Thanks Don, fun video. I am spending 9 weeks in Europe over July & August. I am taking an OM-5, an EM-1 Mki and 5 lenses that will all fit in 1 bag that will go under the seat in the plane 😊. Then, I bought a camera sling bag from Amazon for about $USD30, that will fit both cameras with lenses attached, plus an extra lens. MFT is the best travel kit. 🎉🎉🎉

That should be a fun trip! Indeed, M43 is the best for travel. Thanks for watching and commenting!
To keep memories, the best thing is a phone. Always there for you. To make comercial photos, maybe full frame is needed. But if you want to go outside to “fishing” the ligh and maybe get a good one to keep, nothing beats m43, especially in the zoom range. It’s for the ones who enjoy the journey of going out and shoot.
Great memories. Must have been a great moment for you. Totally agree on M43 being a perfect system for having fun.

Thank you! It was a wonderful memory to re-live!
So true. I lived in Uruguay for a while & I traveled by bus through the country with my micro 4/3 gear & I watched other photographers lugging bags with Canon cameras & lenses. It was so much easier to carry my complete set of cameras & lenses. To me there was no loss in quality or results that I achieved. I actually sold my Canon gear for the micro 4/3 set up before I moved to Uruguay & this nothing against the Canon system, it is great, but for traveling light micro 4/3 wins.

Great video! I sold all my ffsony gear and purchased a om-1mii for all the reasons you stated. Also 65 years old and enjoying m43!

I have an OM-D E-M10 mk I, the name is a bit of a mouthful but it's a great camera lol. Definitely feels like a quantum leap in portability over even a crop sensor DSLR. Small, non-intimidating looking cameras are great for discreet photography as well. I do need to get an actual autofocus lens for it, so far I've just been shooting with adapted film lenses.

The EM10 is a great camera! One of the 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 IIR kit lenses would be a good start. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You’ve got a nice setup! I took my family on the ford Tri motor a few weeks ago in Albuquerque, it was great! I took my all-in-one (24-600mm equivalent ) 1 inch sensor, Sony RX10 IV with me, it worked great!

Another Tri-Motor alumni! I didn't mention it in the video, but the Tri-Motor I flew on in 1964 is now hanging in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. The Sony sounds like quite a camera! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Oh I agree, it's what I love m43 for. Especially with longer lenses, 35mm-size frame cameras are HEAVY. Have a few, often avoid them.

The weight advantage is more valuable than some would imagine. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I apsolutly agree !
Very true, just seen the new LUMIX S9 full frame, small)ish) camera but any decent lens is the size of Nebraska so pointless. Also a 20 mega pixel M43 sensor has slightly better resolution than 35mm film.

Funny / perfect timing. A few days ago I had an opportunity to take my first helicopter ride, with just fifteen minutes’ notice. I had my DSLR (Canon 6D + 24-70mm f2.8) with me, and it did just fine, but I found myself wishing I had had my E-P5 instead, for all the reasons you mentioned. I’ll be prepared next time, though, and it will be interesting to compare the results!
