〇Explanation
Wabun Shrine (Shitori Jinja) is a shrine located in Oaza Miyauchi, Yurihama-cho, Tohaku-gun, Tottori Prefecture.
The exact date of its founding is unknown, but it is believed that the Wabun clan, a clan involved in weaving, enshrined their ancestral deity, Tateba-tsuchi no Mikoto. However, there are many stories related to Shimoteruhime-no-Mikoto in the shrine's legends, and until the Taisho period, Shimoteruhime-no-Mikoto was thought to be the main enshrined deity. It is said that Shiterahime no Mikoto, who sailed from Izumo, landed in present-day Uno, Yurihama Town, climbed Mt. Mt. Gokan, and settled at her current location. At the place where the ship is said to have landed, there are still remains such as the ``lotion lotion'' that Shimoteruhime no Mikoto used to correct her makeup, and the ``Oshikake Rock'' on which she supposedly sat.

〇説明 倭文神社（しとりじんじゃ/しずりじんじゃ）は、鳥取県東伯郡湯梨浜町大字宮内にある神社です。伯耆國一之宮。 具体的な創建年代は不明ですが、機織に携わった氏族である倭文氏が祖神の建葉槌命を祀ったのが起源とされています。ただし、社伝には下照姫命に関するものが多く、大正時代までは下照姫命が主祭神であると考えられていました。出雲から渡った下照姫命が現在の湯梨浜町宇野に着船し、御冠山に登って現在地に鎮まったといわれています。着船したと伝えられる場所には、下照姫命が化粧を直したという「化粧水」や、腰を掛けたという「お腰掛岩」などが残っています。 境内の塚が下照姫命の墓であると考えられていたが、大正4年（1915年）の発掘により経塚であることが判明。その出土品の銘文から、当社が平安時代後期には伯耆國一之宮であったことがわかりました。
